An Indiana county municipal official in the vicinity of Chicago reveals the contents of his meetings with FEMA and the Department of Homeland Security. The initial requests seem reasonable enough when FEMA asks the county officials to prepare a Hazard Mitigation Plan to deal with flooding, fires, high winds and tornadoes.
But as the required meetings and calls with FEMA and DHS continue over a two year period their request become more unusual, raising suspicions of county officials

This would go well with the Reeducation camps, I mean Emergency camps in the military bases.
Yeah, me and my friend have decided if a nuke hits, we want it to be right on top of our head and everyone we know and love. So no thoughts, or questions and no one mourning. The aftermath would be hell.
Of we discussed this in like 1985. Might be different now.
Not me, I’d be holed up on top of my stash of food with my ammo at my side and gun in my lap.
But I would worry about running out of ammo.
If a major volcanic eruption were to occur in Yellowstone, martial law woul dbe the only way to restore some simlance of order to the surviving populace. Mass graves would be essential to reduce the rise of disease caused by rotting corpses and scavaging animals like rats and birds which would survive. This doesn’t have to be a terrorist or NWO plot, a massive volcanic eruption would be as or more devastating to the nation.
Not to mention, you can’t eat gold.

True. Step one of our countywide disaster plan for a biological or chemical incidents was to surround the hospitals with police/troops and lock them down to prevent anyone from getting in.
I bought a pound of distillers yeast.
Could probably make something alcoholic and drinkable out of toe cheese if I had to!
Get a Bow as backup ;) you can always make your own arrows if you have to.
The Mrs. and I learned how to make beer and wine a few years ago. It’s not only a valuable skill, it’s a lot of fun.
We’ve got 4 ‘kits’ put back that will make over 20 gallons of good quality beer along with all the requisite bottling equipment.
I figure we’ll be right popular if the SHTF.
