Thank you lysie.

Good Morning Everyone.

I have come down with a case of shingles. I never knew they could hurt so much. WOW. Tomorrow I’ll visit my little Dr and get some muscle relaxers, my back and side keep going into spasms. It’s a mess.

Roomey had the tv on and I swear, nobama spends no time in the presidential office. He’s too busy teleprompting before various organizations and tv cameras. It wouldn’t be bad, if he was nice to look at and didn’t act so common, but all I can think of when I see him, is he’s a pain in the buttox and dangerous.

Not to worry about the lower case letters when writing the names of America’s worst enemies. I seldom, if ever, use upper case letters when writing about a democRAT, and the same goes for our WhiteHouse. When a democRAT lives in our WhiteHoouse, I use lower case letters.

Oh, I’m sorry about the shingles. Is this the first time? I’ve never gone thru that but I know it’s painful.

I saw a video of O and a bunch of people getting on Marine One to go to Camp David. I noticed that the Marine at the steps continued to face forward. Remember how the Marine, in respect to President Bush, would turn in the President’s direction? Maybe that was just when the President left the helicopter, though. O gave a limp salute to the Marine and it hit me like a slap because I know what O thinks of our splendid military people.

I am thinking it might look something like this:

Subtramification - [suhb-tram-uh-fi-key-shuhn] -

1. the act of throwing a thing or esp. a person under the bus purely for political expediency, usually after a steadfast defense and display of loyalty to the victim.

Subtramifixion - [suhb-tram-uh-fik-shuhn] -

1. the act of abandoning a thing or esp. a person to public persecution purely for political expedience, usually after a fulsome, cloying and disingenuous public display of support for the victim.

Double-Deckification - [duhb-uhl-dek-uh-fi-key-shuhn] -

1. the act of throwing a thing or esp. a person under the bus purely for political expediency, usually after a steadfast defense and display of loyalty for the victim, including even campaigning for and contributing to the victim's prior elections to high office, then supporting and/or voting for the removal of the victim from political office (cf. Rod Blogojovich).

See also:

Jettisonian - [jet-uh-soh-nee-uhn] -

1. pertaining to or advocating the political principles and doctrines of casting off things or esp. once-close political allies who have become a burden or liability to an office holder, usually in the wanton pursuit of the appearance of acting ethically and/or being even-handed, aimed at the general public but with special emphasis to appeal to mindless followers (see also Nobotomy).

In re the Wayward Three (i.e. GOP Senators voting for the Spendthrift Act of 2009 aka The Profligate Pork-o-rama, Circa 2009):

Spector's office is being deluged with e-mails from former supporters who are now declaring full support for Pat Toomey in the next primary (Toomey was the primary challenger last time around who almost knocked off Snarlin' Arlen and who caused Spector to remark that he had 'learned a lesson' about his base)...;-))

And here is something that I can't understand: Nobama is involved with every move they make for the 2010 Census, and yet he claims not to have been involved in the process of choosing his successor to 'his' Senate seat?

Also, in re these 'shadow' positions the White House is setting up to act as gatekeepers for Cabinet positions: This is actually Hitlery getting a taste of her own medicine, as with Jamie Gorelick pulling Janet Reno's strings. It will be fun to watch the first time the WH plant doesn't agree with the State Department -- does that position have any real power?

Oops, I lied! One more thing:

Has anybody been following the Madoff thing?

Here are some off facts that you may or may not be aware of (btw, here is one of the best 'background videos' I have seen so far, and here are some more details and a shot of the building in Manhattan where Madoff had an office):

1. Madoff is out on bail (bail!) of $10 Million. That means he had to come up with 10% = $1 Million, right? Where'd that come from if all the money's gone?

2. Some lawyers are calling it 50/50 that he flees the country.

3. The figure they are kicking around is $50 Billion lost, but he kept the game going for decades. The people who 'invested' with him all thought they were in on a rigged game. In other words, they didn't know exactly what Bernie was doing for them, but they also all believed that Bernie was trading on inside knowledge or was using some kind of illicit trading techniques to get the 'returns'.(Here is a video of some West Palm Beach retirees who lost everything)

4. All of the victims are quick to point out that their 'returns' were 'not that big' although they were 'better than average.' (See video above)

5. Madoff sent very realistic statements of 'trades' and 'dividends' to the duped investors, which must have taken a lot of work (See this video of a guy who lost $8 Million flipping through his very legitimate-looking statements. This guy blames Bush, however, and the Gov't. in general, even though this was almost an all-Democrat operation from start to finish). (Another frightening fact: the guy in the video is a former business owner who sold his business. When he sold, the company's entire 401k account was converted to IRAs -- and left with Bernie Madoff).

6. The SEC investigated Madoff twice (based on credible accusations), in 2005 and 2007, and found nothing. However, the SEC only looked at what Madoff had reported to regulators: all of his behind-the-back stuff was done using an operation that Madoff never reported. He did a lot of trading and other transactions using his wife's name. And I wonder: If a firm sends out a statement saying that they bought x number of shares in AT&T, is there anybody out there making sure that the trade actually happened? (Well, if one of the investigators is married to your neice, do you think you can expect kid-glove treatment? (see video)).

7. Kevin Bacon and Kira Sedgewick (his wife) were among Madoff's victims, and lefty charities were his best customers. In fact, preople invested with Bernie because the charities trusted him.

8. Not everybody in the Pnzi scheme lost money. Now that the lawyers are involved, some people who really understand the law that applies to this are preparing to go to court, and not just against Bernie Madoff! Some interesting things coming out of the legal actions: Did you know that any losses that result from fraud can be written off over your last 3 years of tax returns or against the next twenty??? and that there is a provision in the bankruptcy law called 'claw back' that allows people who lost money to actually recover $$$ from people who didn't???

9. At least one guy committed suicide

10. As usual, the lawyers win no matter what happens. And no one is safe: even financial advisors who even mentioned the name Madoff might be liable...

Excellent! And if this is what you call thread-killing, then go to it...speaking of Madoff’s victims...reading the local paper this week revealed neighbors, just 1 house away - as victims...must have been hooked into the mess by some family connection or other ‘cause we’re not talking Palm Beach here;^)) What a way to find your name in the paper!

I got a reply back from JN, said it was 'Nice'; don't know if he will use it.

I guess we should not be surprised about seemingly 'little' people involved in the Madoff caper, it was all word-of-mouth, friend-of-a-friend-refers-me and very low-key. Your neighbors must know somebody who was also duped.

The thing that galls me is that he preyed upon retirees and charities, in a lot of cases completely wiping people out. And they all thought they were getting over on the 'the system'...sad...;-))

Here is a snippet from Mark Steyn on NRO's The Corner just now:

"...As for Obama's "skills as a communicator", I pass. He seems to be like one of those shower units where the merest nudge of the dial turns it from freezing to scalding. One minute, it's the audacity of hope. Next, we're on the brink of the abyss. But I don't think any serious "foe" (as Mr Heilemann puts it) would compare his rhetorical skills to Reagan's. Reagan was splendidly straightforward: "We are a nation that has a government, not the other way around". "Government isn't the solution to the problem, government is the problem." No pretense at post-partisan hopeychangeyness there.

"By contrast, Obama is skilled mainly at evading clarity, at wrapping hard questions in a generalized gaseous uplift of abstract nouns. His inaugural shtick - it's not about big or small government, it's about smart government - is a classic dodge Reagan would rightly have despised. To govern is to choose, and the new president isn't very good at explaining his choices....
"

This is a take on a broader theme, namely: Obama's open mocking, ridicule and derision of his political opponents. The rhetoric in play now casts any disagreement as 'partisan' attacks; he flat-out blamed Bush for doubling the deficit and in the same breath demands R's to help him double it again because it's the patriotic thing to do.

But make no mistake, Nobama is losing his mojo, slowly but surely...

;-))

Oh, Dearheart, I hope you don’t suffer shingles either. It’s a pain, in more ways than one. At first I thought the red bump was a bug bite, as I’d been working in the yard. If there is a biting bug within a mile, it finds me.

Speaking of nobama, I really don’t think he likes anything American (except what he can get from her, and he’s gotten a lot) or Americans. We must never forget he was raised by a radical mother who didn’t care for America, grandparents who were possibly socialists, and voted democRAT, and his mentor, the president of the Communist Party of Hawaii from the time he was 10 years old. That’s also the time he probably subtramificated the Caucasian half of his being.
