Another FReeper bird lover. I have seen what I believe to be a falcon circling
near my home for months. It is too fast and far away for a shot. I must content
myself with the friendly pelicans at the harbor.

33F ain’t cold.
It’s 7F here now outside Baltimore, and in my hometown of Akron, OH it’s already about 8 below with an expected low of -13F.
THAT’s cold.

I now know real cold. I just returned from the weekly FREEP at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
YES, it was cold, about 10 degrees and a light breeze too.
This Floridian should have returned to the sunny south before having to suffer this evening! LOL
The GANG was there and comparing hand warmers and foot warmers...what a great group. We need to thank them all for representing us for almost 4 years.

Great shots!
I noticed a lot more red tail hawks out up in North Alabama today. It barely reached freezing today.
We use Canon EOS digital, do you know of a mounting apparatus which would allow us to use a spotting scope as a lens?

Oh, and...as an artist, I looks at such work and think: PAINTING = and with your ducks, I think "Duck Stamp" -
Look at all those reflections - and clarity - you can all but see the water moving
