Idol won't be seen tonight. The networks are obediently clearing their prime-time schedules to make room for Obama's taxapalooza speech.

But Idol will return Wednesday night with another two-hour performance show, followed by the one-hour results show on Thursday night.

Try to stay sane until then ;)

Since it is Mardi Gras day I considered making a drinking game out of the POTUS speech by taking a sip every time he says “UUUHH” but then someone reminded me that during the press conference he did that 209 times!

I’d never sober up in time for the Ash Wednesday liturgy.
