making us all wince probably wasn’t the “big finish” she hoped for.
But she is probably through — agreed she is the best of the women tonight.
I think I 75% liked her. She should lose the flourishes, though, the screams and extreme high notes. It’s like she was trying to get in everything she is vocally capable of in her allotted time.

What’s with all this “who are you” from the judges??
She sings "Give Me One Reason" by Tracy Chapman. Her voice is okay. But the song is thin. Not a good choice.
She honkys-it-up with a few whoooos and growls.
Kara: I'm liking the hair. You are a great singer. You can hit those notes. Not sure that was the perfect song.
Paula: When you were in Hollywood, you sang a Kelly Clarkson song. That's what I expected from you. This was safe. You have a hell of a range. Great vocal.
Simon: Odd song choice, but you do have a good voice. You dont' feel as if you know who you are. I'm not sure who you are.
Randy: I agree with Simon. Felt like I was at a karaoke thing with you.
I don't know. I think that theatrical gay guy has a really great voice. If he doesn't come off too much like a queen during his run in the top 12, I think he'll stick around deep into the competition. Plus he has one really bad habit that won't be easy for him to break. Sometime in his youth when he was getting vocal training, someone told him to move his tongue to the front of his mouth to open up his throat so he could hit those big money notes. He acquired the bad habit of actually sticking his tongue out to do it. Not a terrible thing when performing on stage, but the TV camera picks it up and makes it look really strange.
She does seem rather sweet! But she’s right, a stylist is in order!

I think the judges were right on in their comments. She probably deserves another chance cuz she can sing really well.

Yep — we can all see where this train is heading...
NO offense, but I do not want this gender confused queen that over accessorizes, to win.
Maybe she’s the manufactured “before” picture.
