He really is, Bahbah. The American people made the worst mistake in our country's history when they elected Obama.
You are quite right.
Even-though my play on the "Go ahead, make my day!” Comes from “Dirty Harry” again,I'm thinkin’ that's the movie that quote came from...:)
Oh! No wonder You were confused...I meant “Grand Torino.”
So,G T not RTP...
Hhmmmn, now I’m wondering where I got that title from...is it a move too?
I’m gonna go Google it and see.
:)
Yep, t’was a movie,back in 2002 staring Paul Newman;Tom Hanks & Jude Law...
But You probably knew that already, once You read that I thought Gran Torino was called, Road To Perdition.
Thanks for posting those (Dial Idol, AOL)
I’m not a fan of Adam Lamb-butt, but he was in the “pimp spot” so I’m sure he’s the top male vote getter.
Allison should be the top female. I thought she was the best of all last night. (And best female so far)
I predicted Megan for the “wild card” and I’m still standing by it. Dail Idol’s numbers for last week were a lot clearer. The only “sure things” they have are the top 2 this week.
We’ll see....
You know, I didn't notice it. With Freeping at the same time, I miss at least 50% of what happens visually.
Paula is backtracking today on saying that the 4th judge was a mistake. Ye ol', "I was taken out of context!" excuse. I didn't even realize Paula had a context.
I don’t get “He’s so good-looking!” or “He’s so cool!” comments either. If he had an R after his name, they’d be making fun of him like nobody’s business. He’s skinny and dopey. Did they not see the picture of him on the bike from over the summer??
Dial Idol had all three correct last week. I don’t know about AOL. I’ll see if they still have last weeks results somewhere. I thought Allison was very good and deserved the best female spot last night, but I liked Megan and hope she gets to continue, either as third or a wild card. I have a hard time believing Matt Giraud took the third spot, too and I am rooting for him, since he is from a town about 40 miles away.
Nathanial Marshall is the drama queen gay guy. I messed up my html on him so my image for him didn’t appear. :(
I’ll repost after the results show so that it will be easy to find for those that want to listen to the clips for next weeks show.
You guys are the best! I don’t know what I ever did to deserve you (sob!). If there’s ever anything I can do...
I could use a coupon to Popeye's.
The national tour of Gilligan's Island: The Musical, based on the classic television sitcom of the same name, will arrive at the Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater, FL, March 4 at 1 PM.
"Beginning with the #1 TV theme song of all time," press notes for the new musical state, "Gilligan, The Skipper, Mary Ann, Ginger, The Professor, and The Millionaire and his wife are shipwrecked and trying to get off the island. Natural disasters befall them, hurricanes, quicksand, etc., as they learn to get along and survive. Their biggest challenge comes from the U.F.O. and its Alien, who monitors their behavior. By the end of the play, the castaways manage to defeat the extraterrestrial and save the entire planet, while staying marooned themselves."

Anyone, who would you have play the roles from AI contestants?
Skipper
Gilligan
Professor
Mary Ann
Ginger
Mr. Howell
Mrs. Howell
Alien
Indian-giver!
I like Norman Gentle, and here is why...I think what he is doing is MOCKING the fey, queer, effeminate stylings of most of the Idol Men this year and years’ past.
It’s like Rescue Me, it’s so over the top that I think it’s just subtle satire.
I’ll keep voting for him, and ‘cause I’m a traditionalist, I will never vote for a tattooed or pierced, freakish-looking singer, no matter how good a singer.
It’s American Idol, not American Freak Show!
Ed
Matt: He really picked a bad song that didn't do him justice, I did not like it at all....he looks a little like Matt Dillon
Jeanine: It's too bad she picked a bad song choice and it sounded like karaoke....she looks a bit like Jody Watley...and there was a contestant from Season 4 that she looks like too (forgot the name)...
Nick "Norman Gentle": I don't care what people say, I like him. He's very humorous and silly and he CAN sing. Unlike Sanjaya who was entertaining but COULD NOT sing......and I think quite honestly that being that American Idol truly is NOT about talent anymore, come on, it's not....that why not have some fun and have an "idol" that is fun and comedic, as well as talented? I'm just sayin' And I can't think for the life of me, who he looks like...maybe Kelsey Grammar?.
Allison: I liked her a lot too. She's good and also has a sultry, husky voice. I'm not sure about her hair color, but this is about singing right? She reminds me of...no one that I can think of actually.
Kris: Nuh...I didn't care for him either....he kinda looks like David Archuletta, imo
Megan: I really like her...what a great sultry voice. In fact, Mr L9 was watching tv with me and we happened across this part of Idol (as it was DVRing) and he stopped looking for something else to watch so he could watch her. He HATES Idol too. Her tattoo on her arm bothers me though. She reminds me a little, of Rebecca Mader (Charlotte on Lost)
Matt: I didn't care for him and ended up just fast forwarding through him......I honestly don't know who he looks like...Mr. Clean?
Jessie: I didn't like her much....too karaoke and bad song choice (again)......Sprague Grayden lookalike?
Kai: I didn't really care for him......from the way his hair is, he kind of looks like Lost's Sayid (Naveen Andrews) although not nearly as attractive
Mishavonna: She was ok....I didn't like the song she picked....she makes me think of the chick from "Clerks" (Marilyn Ghigliotti)
Adam: I like him. He has a good "rocker" voice, something we haven't heard in a while...he's a Chris Angel lookalike, with hair the same and all the chains around his neck...can Chris Angel sing? I wanna hear him sing Steelhearts - "I'll Never Let You Go", he has the PERFECT voice for that song.
Nice review. :) Just wondering, though, why they have to look like anyone else but themselves.
American Idol Kara DioGuardi Not Happy With Paula Abdul’s Comments
http://realitytvcalendar.com/shows/ai-8/news/kd022609.html
New American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi admits she is hurt by recent comments made by fellow judge Paula Abdul.
In an interview with OK! magazine, Abdul revealed she didnt agree with Foxs decision to add a fourth judge to Idol but insisted she gets along great with DioGuardi. We tried four judges before and it doesnt work. It takes up so much time for each of us to give out opinion that it slows down the pace of the show, Abdul said.
DioGuardi joined Abdul, Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson in the judges panel this year. She released a statement to Access Hollywood saying she was disappointed by Abduls comments but is still excited about helping judge for the remainder of the season.
Paula has a right to her opinions, but I was disappointed by her comments, and hurt that she did not address them to me in person. I am proud of my contributions to the show, and remain excited about the rest of the season, the statement said.
A rep for Abdul responded to DioGuardis statement saying, Paulas quote was taken out of context. She was referring to previous guests judges from past seasons. Not Kara.
Speaking of karaoke...
My BIL is in this new movie comin out...check it (he’s the one on the left)
