Tatiana: Thank you so much!

ROFLMAO!!! Hold on a minute...I think I see the flood of tears racing south down Hawthorne Blvd near me. (About 15 miles from the Kodak theater.) Better round up the animals and get 'em to higher ground. :)

More groups.

Tatiana Del Toro and the Del Toroettes all survive.

Next: The gay kid's team performs. Three people in this group--The fruit, a bossy black girl and a blonde girl.

It's a mess.

Simon: It's like your were all trying to sabotage each other. (singing badly on purpose while to throw the others off)

The gay kid and the blonde chick survive. Black Girl doesn't.

She stomps off stage and gives a the blonde girl a few choice bleeped words. This is right beside the judges' table.

Kara: Whoa!

Drama.

American Idol Salt Lake City Auditions

by admin on Jan.29, 2009, under American Idol

I wanted to take a minute to thank all of you who have been so supportive my entire life and career. It’s because of you that I can even been where I am today. Thank You!

Being on American Idol is a much more extensive process that just walking in and getting the Golden Ticket. I decided right up front, if I was going to audition, then I wanted to do it without any special treatment. I was adamant about not telling anyone my last name. I wanted to stand toe-to-toe with the amazing talent I met at the audition here in Salt Lake and just sing. Then wait to see what happened.

I stood in those lines and waited the whole day. I didn’t think I’d get to sing because I had a flight to catch, but I was able to get in the last minute and do it. There were a lot of positive things that came out of the audition that you didn’t see on TV last night, but that’s television.

I was in the room for quite awhile with Simon, Paula, Randy, and Kara, and they gave me some really great feedback. My brothers and I have always known that being an Osmond in the music industry means you’re more scrutinized than others might be. Having Donny and Marie as your aunt and uncle does not guarantee a recording contract. I wanted to see what I could do on my own.

When I finally had to admit that I was an Osmond, Simon told me, “You have an amazing surname.” When I told him I was very proud of it, he said, “You should be.” And I am.

Being on American Idol is a great opportunity for me. It gives me a chance to share not only my music, but to also let people know a little more about MS. There’s no cure for MS.

I kind of cover it up, but I still have MS. It’s something I deal with on a day to day basis, every minute. I used to be in a wheelchair, unable to move from the chest down. My eyesight was diminishing, and I couldn’t sing because my diaphragm was stopping. The fact that I walk today is amazing. I thought that music was done for me.

I’ve been really blessed in so many ways. Music is my life, and now I get the chance to share it once again with all of you. Again, thanks to all of you who are here to support me.

David

Dear Lord, how bad do you have to be for the little hippy girl who loves everybody to turn on you??

LOL!!

After she was cut she said she hated that group. I can believe it.

Tatiana, Bikini girl, and tattoo chick should have been in one disposable group!

I agree, except for Emily--she was just out of her league and would have been eliminated eventually.

I hope Tatiana goes next.

Hi, Lobsta! We’ve missed those claws! Of course, there weren’t many performances that would rate even a half-claw lately, LOL

I have liked him from the first audition, and would buy his music. It's just that, with all his advantages, he doesn't need American Idol. Leave it for the kids who would never get a chance at a recording contract without AI.

Rose should have another chance. She was totally screwed by her group.

Are the Hollywood round singers eligible for the Wild Card?
