In Peurto Rico. A 16 year old girl (Monique) plays the cute card by having her little brother accompany her to the auditions.
Simon as the little boy if his sister is any good.
The boy nods enthusiastically.
The judges aren't terribly impressed.
Kara: Not sure your voice is fully developed yet.
Kara and Randy pass. Paula says yes. It comes down to Simon's vote (a tie = Golden Ticket this year)
Simon looks at Monique. Then he looks at her brother. LOL! Simon can't say no to the kid.
He says yes, but warns Monique that she needs to work on her voice and sing songs more in her range.

She’s a cutie though! So’s her brother. Not sure about that one -- Randy was right, her voice and presence aren't ready yet. She will get killed in H'wood.
I am not sure Simon did her any favors.
We also got confirmation that Simon's vote is 1.1 votes. 2-2 with Simon on the No side is a No. 2-2 with Simon on the Yes side is a Yes.
