The guy is singing about his wife’s hands. When they were young, middle aged, and when she became old. I still want to say Waylon Jennings but keep coming up empty. :(

Have fun watching H C.
Yeah, I still haven’t found it. I’ll have to go through my stepdad’s albums next time go over there. It’s on one of them. The weird thing is when we got married I had a friend sing at our wedding and I went to their house and told them there was this one song I thought might be good for during the wedding.
When I told them about it, they said they had that album and that was a favorite song of their’s and that they had always wanted to sing that song. They went in the other room and brought out the album. Well, I tried to get the sheet music at a large sheet music place locally, but they didn’t have it and time was too short to order it so we went with another song.
Going through the Opry song list made me think of it and thought I’d try to relocate it.
Appreciate the time you spent looking. Wish I could remember the artist or the exact name of the song. Oh well. :)
I wish You/we could have found it for You too! Maybe it will ring a bell to another who comes by to read the Thread...Here’s hoping!:)

Supposedly Carrie Underwood and Randy Travis are mentors this week, so maybe they will sing that duet.

Carrie Underwood will make a duet with Randy Travis, while Brad Paisley will perform solo at ‘American Idol’ Grand Ole Opry week.
Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley have both been appointed as musical guests at “American Idol” Grand Ole Opry week on Wednesday, March 18. Another country music singer set to sing at the FOX’s reality singing competition is Randy Travis.
Carrie is scheduled to share stage with Randy, singing his 1988 self-written song called “I Told You So”. Meanwhile, Brad is going to perform solo, delivering a new track entitled “Then” from his upcoming studio album.
“I am always thrilled to return to the ‘Idol’ stage, and am so proud to this time be bringing with me one of my heroes, Randy Travis,” Carrie shared her excitement concerning the forthcoming show. “I knew the Opry first, but Idol gave me my start and helped lead me to the Opry stage. It’s a great feeling to be able to help bring these two worlds together.”
“American Idol” has 11 remaining contestants; Lil Rounds, Allison Iraheta, Alexis Grace, Kris Allen, Danny Gokey, Megan Joy Corkrey, Scott MacIntyre, Anoop Desai, Adam Lambert, Michael Sarver, and Matt Giraud. On March 17, one day before the Grand Ole Opry week, they are required to sing country songs in front of judges with Randy Travis serving as their mentor.

Former American Idol winner Carrie Underwood has confirmed that she will be returning to the show for a performance next week.
The country star, who was crowned the fourth season champion in 2005, will sing her track ‘I Told You So’ alongside Randy Travis during Grand Ole Opry week.
“I am so excited that two of my musical passions, American Idol, and the Grand Ole Opry, are joining together to create a really special week of music,” she told Access Hollywood.
“I am always thrilled to return to the Idol stage, and am so proud to be bringing with me one of my heroes, Randy Travis.
Travis, who originally recorded ‘I Told You So’ in 1988, will mentor the contestants, while Underwood will release a digitally-remastered version of the single to coincide with her appearance.
Previously, Underwood announced that her cover of Motley Crue’s ‘Home Sweet Home’ would be used as the farewell track on this year’s competition.
Thank you, LOL ;)
I found these extra photos of Tatiana. They reinforce the crazy lady/small dog theory :-D
Even the dog looks scared.
Thank you, Anna! :)
It’s more sad than funny. Mental illness is no joke.
Exactly.
If they can't use their veto after the Top 5 then they probably wouldn't be able to save one of the better singers anyway, so I don't get the point. Unless it's just to create an extra level of tension when someone is eliminated.
"Will you save Jorge?"
LOL!!!
Awe, her dog is kind of cute and looks pretty happy to me. Yesterday I had to take our cat to the vet for a shot and some guy was there with his dog out front of the building. We got to talking and he said he was there to have his dog euthanized. I started crying. I’m such a softie. :(
Randy Travis will be the mentor next week and Carrie, Randy Travis and Brad Paisley perform on the Results Show. That will be a welcome change from Kanye West.
Carrie has a cover of "I Told You So" on her last album.
I still think that Allison was in that bottom three this week. (I have no idea why she would have gotten so few votes, unless people just assumed she was safe), but I think they fudged the numbers because I DO think the judges would have used the save one her and that would have pissed them off to have to have used it so soon in the season.
Now, now Jonny...I have a small dog and I’m not crazy (much!) Of course I also have a beagle so maybe that helps to exclude me from your theory!
I wasn't fond of either of them, honestly. I was a big Diana DeGarmo fan.
