Ok folks here's the new thread for the new season.
.................................................................................Set in Washington, DC, "Day 7" opens four years after Season Six with CTU dismantled and JACK BAUER on trial. Bauer's day takes an unexpected turn when former colleague TONY ALMEIDA returns. Meanwhile, newly elected President ALLISON TAYLOR leads the country alongside White House Chief of Staff ETHAN KANIN and First Gentleman HENRY TAYLOR.
A national security crisis prompts an investigation by a team of FBI agents including JANIS GOLD, RENEE WALKER, LARRY MOSS and SEAN HILLINGER. Although CTU is no longer, CHLOE O'BRIAN and BILL BUCHANAN are back for another momentous day of shocking events.

Well, I’m in, but how they’re going to pass off Tony being alive, I don’t know. I hope they called in the best soap opera writers for this.
To: Miss Didi
Miss Didi, you added me to your ping list! Thank you!
Confession time: I am trying very hard to resist watching 24 this season. IMO, they shark-jumped Season 6, and I’m wanting to punish them for it.

Kiefer was on Regis and Kelly Friday, he said they haven’t changed much because it’s been a good show all along. IOW if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. :)
I think Jack will continue to kneecap people - looks like he and Tony get in a big fight. Will be interesting where Tony’s been all this time.
One of my most favorite characters in the 7 seasons so far was Jean Smart playing the president’s wife.

Well, since no one has done it yet, I will welcome the new day with the series' most popular drinking game words/phrases:

Thanks for the thread! We are having an official 24 premier party, only 5 of us but enough Mexican food for about 10. Taquitos, white turkey chili, grilled burritos, guacamole, layered dip, tortilla chips and other goodies besides. Hope tonight is better than that weak-@ss Redemption episode. I’d like to see the old Jack that cuts off terrorists fingers for quick fingerprinting.

Here's hoping Jack gets back to kicking bad guy butt. I also missed him driving the Kiefermobile with all of the guns and whiz bang double naught spy gadgets. Plus the vehicle was able to get anywhere in LA in just a few minutes. Should come in handy when he's in DC.

I’ve read quite a bit on it lately and will not blow it for those that like it.
It’s quite irritating for someone to post a review and not label it as a “spoiler”, like some of our friends on the east coast. ;)

Re top ten reasons: There are so many to draw from that probably puts him hin hot water (after all, they all have been caught on TV).
However one missing for the next ten is when he lopped off the Russian diplomat's fingers with a cigar cutter.
I miss the good old days..........

If they bring back Silver Spoons I hope they did not scar up his face too much.
He is just too cute.
