Ok folks here's the new thread for the new season.
.................................................................................Set in Washington, DC, "Day 7" opens four years after Season Six with CTU dismantled and JACK BAUER on trial. Bauer's day takes an unexpected turn when former colleague TONY ALMEIDA returns. Meanwhile, newly elected President ALLISON TAYLOR leads the country alongside White House Chief of Staff ETHAN KANIN and First Gentleman HENRY TAYLOR.
A national security crisis prompts an investigation by a team of FBI agents including JANIS GOLD, RENEE WALKER, LARRY MOSS and SEAN HILLINGER. Although CTU is no longer, CHLOE O'BRIAN and BILL BUCHANAN are back for another momentous day of shocking events.
I don’t think Tony’s a bad guy. I think he’s undercover for a secret offshoot of CTU. Chloe’s a part of it, I’m guessing.
I want to see Chloe beat the crap out of Gargoyle!
I saw a pic of Tony Todd with a gun, I bet he is the new bad guy. I guess I missed what this fake African country did.
Good opening 2 hrs, looking forward to tomorrow.

I nearly threw up when I saw Jeanine Garafallo (sp—who cares!) on there. I hope she gets killed early.
I thought the shows tonight were good and the criticisms premature. It never starts out and ends in the same place.
Regarding the current Prez wanting to help an African country - she obviously doesn’t want to be another Clinton & UN watching the Hutus vs Tutsis go at it until several 100,000 were dead.
Who disbanded CTU? I missed that - was it Congress?

But I am glad it sounds like it was a good episode. I will have to wait to see who Jeanine Garafallo is. I can't place her with any of the characters. I know I sure didn't like what's-her-name - that Senator's daughter - Jack's love interest. I hope she doesn't come back on the show. She just never fit with Jack, IMO.
Pretty good start to '24'. Took Bauer just 2 hrs to grab a guy the Feebiee had been looking for for 6 wks.
