Ok folks here's the new thread for the new season.
.................................................................................Set in Washington, DC, "Day 7" opens four years after Season Six with CTU dismantled and JACK BAUER on trial. Bauer's day takes an unexpected turn when former colleague TONY ALMEIDA returns. Meanwhile, newly elected President ALLISON TAYLOR leads the country alongside White House Chief of Staff ETHAN KANIN and First Gentleman HENRY TAYLOR.
A national security crisis prompts an investigation by a team of FBI agents including JANIS GOLD, RENEE WALKER, LARRY MOSS and SEAN HILLINGER. Although CTU is no longer, CHLOE O'BRIAN and BILL BUCHANAN are back for another momentous day of shocking events.
Did Ditka flip off Zero???
just wondering.........
Catching up late.
But at 7:42, why are the talking about a “restricted airspace” over the capital, when they grounded all the flights this morning?
And why haven’t they brought a military garrison to the white house given that they know there is a garrison of Juma’s troops going somewhere?
Funny thing is, it looked like Juma was dressed in military uniform. And since we went to war against his country, I think under the code of military conduct he is authorized to launch a military attack against the white house.
Yeah, that's kind of ironic that any of his men captured (except the janitor) would be extended Geneva Convention courtesies befitting Officers of an enemy nation.
Which is to say, that many of the charges they might be facing would have to be dropped because they are uniformed combatants.
9:20 or so.
So, somehow, they have disabled communications with all the secret service channels, BUT at the same time Juma can communicate two-way with the secret service.
I believe that is a physical impossibility.
9:25: This would be worth it if someone would torture the senator for a while.
Why are there not weapons in the lockdown? Surely the secret service protocol would be to retreat to the lockdown with the President, and then to defend her. For that they would want more weapons.
9:36 or so: Voight has the online manifest for the white house? This is so absurd. If Voight has the power to have the entire white house wired, he would not need to make any deals for anything.
He would have so much power simply hearing what was going on, he could make millions. And he could get incriminating evidence on people and blackmail them. this plot is faulty because given the power he has, he would never waste it on this type of absurd attack.
Meyer is the guy holding hearings and wants to lock Bauer up in the slammer. He apparently even blames Bauer for his current predicament LOL.
Obviously a blinkered DC “insider” to the end :)
9:46: By this time, Larry Moss wouldn’t be the voice of the FBI. Wouldn’t the head of the FBI have taken over some time during the day?
I didn't hear anyone say that! I just thought he was still in the hospital.
Nope, it was the Senator's slimy aide.

LMFAO!!!!!! Freepers rock!
This is an error by a Freeper. First Guy is not dead.
Great recovery!
Oh no! I want Jack to be the one who has to save the Senator's sorry a$$, but ONLY after having to torture someone in order to do so, with the Senator cheering Jack all the way. THAT would be justice.
"Only YOU can prevent forest firefights."
Right after he tortured Bill...
And Bill...a 'flustered...
He can also interrogate with it...witness Bauer v. Raines, Paul, Day 4...
