I've been resting from all that adrenaline rush of being w/my daughter since she lost her eye to cancer, then waiting for Jan. 7 when she got her prosthetic eye...custom made!...we're still rejoicing that she looks so good and feels good about it too.

Then, there's been the pain and infection of the dog bite on my leg...trips to the doctor for multiple antibiotic shots and pills...improvement but still not completely healed. I WILL survive though. All this activity during Christmas baking, shopping, and present wrapping for multiple house guests staying overnight has kept me more than busy...exhausted would be a better word.

Let's hope that our nation also survives w/zero, the dem congress, and the lib media leading us toward bankruptcy and that they go down to resounding defeats during the next 4 years.

I'm hanging on to witness the disillusionment w/that crowd of miscreants. Meanwhile, lysie breakfasts w/ATRW real Americans will give me the strength to endure the coming government jihad and reading good books will keep me from watching too much TV.

(Have I told you lately how much I despise the media and limp republicans?)

*smooches*

You are a good friend.

Let's try to stay positive. Going negative means they win. I'm not about to let that happen!

(((((Carolinamom))))))

We have missed you. We’ve known that you’ve had a lot on your overflowing platter (even bigger than a plate!). You are right. You WILL survive. My plan for survival the next four years is to avoid political news completely.

dog bite

Yikes, I didn't know about that. Goodness, I'm hoping that things calm down for you Cmom. You've had way more than your share lately.

Update on my mil, she is in a regular room and on just 2 liters of oxygen....at one point she'd be on a whopping 16 liters. (Very short of breath with the pneumonia)

I spoke with her yesterday and tried to start impressing on her that she'll need to rest, rest, rest once she gets home and not do the cooking, dishes etc. We're going to try and arrange some help for the housework as fil's shoulder still needs to recover from the surgery.

I also started impressing on her how she simply MUST see the doctor immediately when she gets sick and not sit at home trying to treat herself with Nyquil.

We were fortunate and prayers answered that she didn't keep spiraling down after she took that turn for the worse. I've seen it happen many times with folks her age especially.
