Yikes, I didn't know about that. Goodness, I'm hoping that things calm down for you Cmom. You've had way more than your share lately.
Update on my mil, she is in a regular room and on just 2 liters of oxygen....at one point she'd be on a whopping 16 liters. (Very short of breath with the pneumonia)
I spoke with her yesterday and tried to start impressing on her that she'll need to rest, rest, rest once she gets home and not do the cooking, dishes etc. We're going to try and arrange some help for the housework as fil's shoulder still needs to recover from the surgery.
I also started impressing on her how she simply MUST see the doctor immediately when she gets sick and not sit at home trying to treat herself with Nyquil.
We were fortunate and prayers answered that she didn't keep spiraling down after she took that turn for the worse. I've seen it happen many times with folks her age especially.
I had "walking pneumonia" in Nov. and it was not a walk in the park for me.
The main reason that I always dread January is because that is the month that the 2 most important men in my life...my husband and my dad...died. I still have tears.....
