What a joke the UN is. Once again the UN proves to be ineffective as Isreal and Hamas continue to ignore them.

Dremel is the better product. The new products are a cheap imitation of Dremel, I hear, and the motor does not last long.

A beautiful ceremony. I loved it when Doro called on the sailors to "bring the ship to life" and they all shouted "AYE AYE MA'AM" and RAN onto the ship.
Tears. Many.

Hubby has a dremel. I gave it to him. I use it about 1/3 as much.

The kids are talking about going to some state parks in their camper VERY shortly, ain't summer and I hate cold weather. I am staying here, doing these kinds of thing are summer time ventures. Going somewhere in way north Al.
Getting in the high 40’s tonight, start getting cold at night then, in the 30’s. Got to stack some firewood for sure which I am about out, gotta split some soon, got a log splitter after Katrina and still lots of old oak trees out in the woods behind the house and owner of property told me to get all I want, he is one of my regular receiver of fresh yard eggs WHICH I gathered 26 just a bit ago.
Now-—to brag! Allie is being home schooled but wanted to go attend the public school. I was against this but I just stay here if you get my drift. She went and took tests to see how it will work out and grade, etc. She is not certified as a GIFTED STUDENT and the teacher told D that she was way advanced in her schooling. If this works out she just might get a scholarship which will help a lot, she wants to go to a Christian college (me too). Now, do you read a little pride in my typing?

You and me both. Right now it's 20 degrees.

I spent about 15 minutes this morning trying to chip ice off of the front walk with a metal shovel. I gave up when my hands turned into blocks of ice. The dogs are having trouble keeping their footing in the yard, because the snow is covered with an impenetrable half inch to inch of ice.

Congratulations, Toby, on having a GD who is not only smart but also a real beauty! You've got bragging rights for your daughter too.
Cold(er) weather is coming my way as well, but I can take it, knowing that SPRING is just around the corner.
To: trisham
Yep... we still have about 1/4 inch of ice that am slowly chipping away off the driveway and sidewalk.
Am hoping to have it completed by July.
