Good morning and thanks for the ping lysie. We had about 40 people for a patio party yesterday. My friend and I cooked up a roaster of ham and beans and everybody brought more food. We had about 6 musicians and the jammin’ was good.

Can't you just picture all of us sitting around a table, lysie with her apron on working like a little ant feeding us? A bowl of grits here, egg there, ‘another cup of coffee please’, I can, what a picture that would be.

D, SIL and kids going into town today for a bunch of foster care meetings and me? ‘wasn't invited’, not that I would go anyhow. Ah, a day of reading AFTER cleaning the chicken coop, cleaning my ‘shack in the back’, feeding the animals to/wit CHICKENS and then? be total laid back, thinking of changing my bed linen tomorrow unless I get that ‘extra kick’.

Weather allowing my to wear my shorts today ‘that is what I like about the south’, nights are going to be a little cool but days pleasant.
