Thank you, Majie.
Lori made that graphic several years ago and it seemed a shame not to use it.
Thanks, Lori.

I have never seen the Rose Parade in person.
Don't think I would enjoy the traffic getting there or the crowd while there.
I try to watch it on TV and always enjoy it.
Have a great weekend, Majie.

First, I want to say that I love graphics and I am so glad to see the graphics that you share here.
Second, I must apologize ... I have been lax in checking the size of some of my graphics. I have not removed the graphics from my server, but I have been making notes not to use them because of the size.
Most of us have high speed internet connection, so we are unaware of the problems large (pixel wise) graphics cause for those without hight speed connection. When they encounter large graphics, their computers freeze and the only solution is to power down.
I like to keep the graphics under 100,000 pixels. There are web sites that will resize the graphics for you. After resizing, the new graphic will need to be uploaded to your server.
This is my favorite site for reducing jpegs ....
http://www.321webmaster.com/optijpg.php
Another site is ...
http://tools.dynamicdrive.com/imageoptimizer/index.php
This one will reduce both jpegs and gifs but the maximum size that can be reduced is 300,000.
Third and most important ..... This is not meant to offend anyone, so please don’t take offense. I hope being considerate of others will increase everyone’s enjoyment.
Meg33 and LadyJag may have other sites that will reduce images.
Thanks for your understanding.
Amy

Chocolate upside down pudding cake?
Pineapple upside down cake?
Peach cobler? (Pour canned peaches over batter, it rises and makes a wonderful crunchy top)
Frosted angel food cake?
Pie cookies?

Meg sent me this link - and it is the one I use to reduce pictures:
http://www.shrinkpictures.com/
But, if you upload an animated or moving gif - it comes back as a still picture. I’ll have to try your image optomizer, Amy. Thank you. (I emailed both link addys to myself - so I won’t lose them.)

Thanks for the info, Yorkie.
I have some old saved graphics that I have been posting. When I checked the size they are over 100,000 pixels. I’ve made a note not to use them.
Now I will see if I can reduce them to a usable size.
It is so easy to use graphics without realizing the size.

At the Mid Hour of Night
At the mid hour of night, when stars are weeping, I fly
To the lone vale we loved, when life shone warm in thine eye;
And I think oft, if spirits can steal from the regions of air,
To revisit past scenes of delight, thou wilt come to me there,
And tell me our love is remember'd, even in the sky.
Then I sing the wild song 'twas once such pleasure to hear!
When our voices commingling breathed, like one, on the ear;
And, as Echo far off through the vale my said orison rolls,
I think, oh my love! 'tis thy voice from the Kingdom of Souls,
Faintly answering still the notes that once were so dear.

Desmond's Song
By the Feal's wave benighted,
No star in the skies,
To thy door by Love lighted,
I first saw those eyes.
Some voice whisper'd o'er me,
As the threshold I cross'd,
There was ruin before me,
If I loved, I was lost.
Love came, and brought sorrow
Too soon in his train;
Yet so sweet, that to-morrow
'Twere welcome again.
Though misery's full measure
My portion should be,
I would drain it with pleasure,
If pour'd out by thee.
You, who call it dishonour
To bow to this flame,
If you've eyes, look but on her,
And blush while you blame.
Hath the pearl less whiteness
Because of its birth?
Hath the violet less brightness
For growing near earth?
No -- Man for his glory
To ancestry flies;
But Woman's bright story
Is told in her eyes.
While the Monarch but traces
Through mortals his line,
Beauty, born of the Graces,
Ranks next to Divine!

Erin! The Tear and the Smile in Thine Eyes
Erin! the tear and the smile in thine eyes
Blend like the rainbow that hangs in thy skies,
Shining through sorrow's stream,
Saddening through pleasure's beam,
Thy suns with doubtful gleam,
Weep while they rise.
Erin, thy silent tear never shall cease,
Erin, thy languid smile ne'er shall increase,
Till, like the rainbow's light,
Thy various tints unite,
And form in heaven's sight
One arch of peace!
