My Dog is killing deer Help! - AM calls bs - ZOT!

Help I have a Border Collie / mix Dog He is 1 1/2 yrs old, he is a very smart dog, The other night I had to go looking for him and found him on a deer.... still alive! He has a sisiter that is 6 months old and is a Black Lab /mix. she to was with him shortly getting in on the action. I pulled him off. and scolded him allthe way home, this moring I let them out and went in to bake a cake, 30 min. i called them to come in and no one came. I put on my jacket and when out to look for them. Just as I started up the 4 wheeler they both came running around the shop and both are cover in blood. I called to the boder collie and asked him to show me what he caught and he took me to the dead deer. Is this something I shuld be worried about? How do I stop this from ever happening again, some one help! There must be a way I do not want to have to put him down. thank you

A Border Collie would herd the deer not eat it.
It must have been hit by a car first.

Man we cover all the topics on this forum...I had a Samaoy dog...a Male...beautiful but a real handful...they don't like being fenced in..

I like golden’s a bit better....much easier to live with....Got me a 2009 calendar with Golden Retrievers on each page....got to find a place to hang it...now.
