zany • \ZAY-nee\ • noun
1. a subordinate clown or acrobat in old comedies who mimics ludicrously the tricks of the principal
2. one who acts the buffoon to amuse others
3. a foolish, eccentric, or crazy person *
* Indicates the sense illustrated in the example sentence.
Example sentence:
My brother's friends are an unpredictable bunch of zanies.
Did you know?

good grief— Pitt loses in the Sun Bowl in probably THE most boring game ever, 3-0. how sad! didn’t see it, just heard about it, we were at the Purple Puck for the past 3 days, Gonzaga won it, which made it all worthwhile. Now i can do nothing for the next few days and i am SOOOOO looking forward to that!
