Ed Hale of Plains Radio Network will be releasing in his radio show chat room at http://www.plainsradio.com/chat1.html tomorrow night around 6 pm central time, a certified copy of the divorce papers of Barrack Husein Obama Senior & Stanley Ann Dunham. The document is believed to show Barrack Obama Junior's place of birth. I have heard that it will show that place to be in Kenya. The document obtained from a private investigator in Hawaii will be available for viewing on the Plains Radio Network website.

Thanks, PistolpaknMama. So it appears Barack was likely formally adapted by Lolo Soetoro. I wonder how that affects his citizenship status.

Then why did the PI have to “go to Hawaii”?

Because going to New Jersey would have been fruitless. LOL

A Hawaiian PI was hired because the PI lives in Hawaii.
A Hawaiian PI was hired to look for documents filed in Hawaii.

Uh my post was in reply to someone wondering why they had to SEND someone to Hawaii. Where did you get the idea they used a Hawaiian PI? I personally think this whole thing is a scam to get the radio station’s phone bill paid.

You obviously are like the Pharisees and the Sadducees who were always against Jesus

Not knowing the difference between the Pharisees and the Sadducees is a big red flag for me.

Well, now. How did that Republican majority in Congress do, after all?

Smaller Government?

Slashed budget?

Eliminate the Department of Education?

Even provide school vouchers?

How about the way they reined in the EPA!

Not to mention, shut down all that nonsense about global warming!

And opened up oil drilling onshore and off!

Now that we are energy self-sufficient, it really should not be a problem.

Yeah.

With a very few exceptions, they are all liars, just packing enough pork home to the constituents to get reelected.

Heck, we ain't seen nothing yet!

The latest bailout exceeds the cost of every war the US has been in--put together (and then some--in inflation corrected dollars).

Considering that Sarah Palin was the 'outsider', the one who had not spent a few years in Washington D.C., I generally figure she is the most untainted of the lot.

But as for politicians, 99.999% of them make a bad name for the rest, so maybe I am being harsh.

Consider that in the play Othello, when the Venetian Senator who was Desdemona's father called Iago 'a villain', the retort was "And thou art...a Senator!"

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Happy New Year!

You said (at the end... LOL..) — “The more things change, the more they stay the same.”

Well then, it seems that you’ve sorta proved my point in that if everyone else is a fraud — then either we throw them *all* out — or we keep them all (because they’re all the same anyway, if they’re a “politician”). And if we elect “new ones” — guess what..., they’re still “politicians” and by definition, committing fraud.

You can never win with that kind of thinking... LOL..

You can LOL! until the cows come home, and it won't change the facts. As long as we elect politicians to public office, we're all going to lose.

What we need are statesmen, not politicians.

You said — “What we need are statesmen, not politicians.”

Ummm..., if they’re in office, they’re politicians by definition. That means they all commit fraud (again by definition)...

Ummm..., if they’re in office, they’re politicians by definition.

Says who?

You can be in a pasture and not be a cow.

By their fruits shall ye know them.

Now, it might be a stretch, but a couple of examples.

George Washington, while politically adept, was a Statesman.

Bill Clinton, a politician.

Both held the same office. Therefore, I think it is safe to say it is the character of the individual, not the title of the office which decides who is what.

YMMV, but I still think we need far more statesmen.

You asked — “Says who?”

American Oxford Dictionary —

“a person who is professionally involved in politics, esp. as a holder of or a candidate for an elected office.”

Whether you like the definition or not, that means that all holders of an elected office are committing fraud by what you said earlier...

Now, ask me for citations... I’ll say get them yourself, because

Only for citations in the Constitution. You said they were part of it, I can't find any mention there. It's a short document, even with the amendments. Shouldn't be hard to find. I can't prove they aren't there, but you can certainly prove they are by pointing them out. But of course you can't because they are not there.

Ask me what the citations are for not talking to the police. Do I care? No — I simply ain’t talking and that’s all that matters to me... :-)

Okay, what about my innocent until proven guilty? Well, will we get some egghead lawyer in here telling me that it’s wrong? Don’t know and don’t care — because that’s what I know... LOL..

We can keep going on down the list of a whole bunch of stuff... but, you get the point...

Reread your definition. "...professionally involved in politics, esp. as a holder of or a candidate for an elected office." does not eliminate the need for people in public office who are statesmen and not politicians, nor does it define those who hold public office who are not professionally involved in politics but who are engaged in matters of state as politicians.

The two subsets (people in public office and politicians) are not equivalent, despite the majority of politicians in public office, which is the result of the dearth of statesmen in the first place.
