Ed Hale of Plains Radio Network will be releasing in his radio show chat room at http://www.plainsradio.com/chat1.html tomorrow night around 6 pm central time, a certified copy of the divorce papers of Barrack Husein Obama Senior & Stanley Ann Dunham. The document is believed to show Barrack Obama Junior's place of birth. I have heard that it will show that place to be in Kenya. The document obtained from a private investigator in Hawaii will be available for viewing on the Plains Radio Network website.
Linda Lingle Gov of Hawaii (R) seems to be satisfied.
She is more than a mere clerk.
Definitely. Although it need not be at the State level, it could be. It could also be a Constitutional amendment, or even just an ordinary law, under the necessary and proper clause as applied to the "natural born citizen" requirement.
But this is not an either or situation. Congress and/or the courts could still remedy the current problem, if problem there be.
I just dont think there is “any there, there”
If we cant hang this guy on his communist and anti constitutional ties, what are the odds we will get him on a “technicality’?
Oh yes he is. He may be within the law to do so, absent a request by some authority, but he is refusing requests made by the many persons filing various suits. He could produce it if he wished, even if not required to do so. But he hasn't. That seems like a refusal to me.
The CoLB short form declares that he was born in Honolulu. If the long form (whatever it may be) declares otherwise, then the State of Hawaii is a fraud, and its Republican governor is one stupid ----.

No it is not the case. Under the law in force at the time, a person born outside the US of a one foreign parent and one US Citizen parent would only be a citizen at birth if the US Citizen parent had resided in the US for 10 years, 5 of which had to be after that person's 14th birthday. BHO's mother was only 18 when he was born, and thus did not meet that requirement.
Under the common law of England, which is where one generally looks for the meaning of Constitutional terms that are not defined in the document itself, which is most of them, a person born outside the country in those circumstances would only be a natural born subject/citizen if the father were the British subject. A person whose mother was under 19 and father was not a US Citizen and who was born outside US territory is not a citizen at all. In countries other than those whose legal system is based up English Common law, a natural born subject had to be born in that country (with a few exceptions such as ambassadors and other representatives of the government) and of two subjects/citizens. Either way, Obama could not claim natural born status, and not even citizen status, unless later naturalized, which would make him eligible to be a Senator, but not President.
We can hope that he really screwed the pooch when he resigned his Senate seat so early in the process, (especially in light of the Blogo mess)
Yes, but you do have to look for them. Apparently by the name of the party who sued for divorce. Which allegedly was BHO Sr., NOT Stanley Ann Dunham Obama. And also apparently no one thought to look under BHO Sr.'s name.
I find that a bit hard to believe, but stranger things have happened.
Actually there is a point. To prime people to look for them tomorrow. Just like we look for the results of Supreme Court actions on Friday (for cert granted) and Monday (for orders and dispositions)
He is a politician.
Seems reasonable enough to me.
And then there is George Foreman, who named all his male children "George Foreman". Must be even more confusing than the household of our first exchange student. Her father was Jorge, her brother was Jorge, and her then boyfriend/fiance is also Jorge. Now she and her brother are both married, and they each named their firstborn "Jorge". Yep five Jorges at family dinners! Which coincidentally is the same name as "George". (I know yet another Jorge, with the same last name as the exchange student's, who pronounces it as "George", except maybe when he's visiting his family in San Antonio. :) )
They are also going to scan it in and put it up on the 'net. They'll give the URL on the radio program. Or so they say. We shall see. But you don't need to listen, they've already got a volunteer who will post the link right here on FR.
Under their law, and probably federal law as well, they can't. As you said, the BC is Private, they can't reveal the contents. IMHO, they were treading on thin legal ice by revealing that they even had one. It's possible they were inviting a "Court of Competent Jurisdiction" to order it's production.
It isnt going anywhere.
Not this again.
Yes, you could, but Stanley Ann could not, at the time BHO was alleged to have been born. You are over 15, and have ( I guess) resided in the US for more than 5 yrs (the law has changed since BHO was born, then it was 10 years and over 18).
Have at it. Although I think I'd pick someplace like Bali or even the Ukraine or Georgia over Timbuktu, which is in Mali, near Africa's Ivory Coast. But to each his own preferances.
We can, however as many folks who are pissed at me, chip away at the legalities.
IMHO the laws are about right as they stand on this issue.
I would hate to see peoples privacy taken away because Barama needed more vetting.
That said. Public figures and politicians in power should have to answer to a higher scrutiny
Yes, this again. When the Birth Certificate Brigade tires of their Play-Doh they launch another we got him now! thread that promises to negate Obama's win.
It is embarrassing to the site and to conservatives. But, I reckon even the Right has it's share of 'crazy uncles and aunts'.
Ann was not a US citizen?
Stanley Ann sounds bizarre, but so does EVERTHING about Obamas life L0L
Again we come to some obscure technicality.
Honestly, if we can get this guy on his communist ties what makes us think we can get him on his mothers hippy dippy status?
Not to my understanding. The governor isn't even supposed to look at the BC, and has never claimed to have done so. Another state official has said it that the form of the document posted on various sites *looks like* their certification form, but without the actual document, as opposed to an image of it, or a print out of that image, they can't really tell anything for certain.
They have said nothing as to content. They can't without either BHO authorizing it, or a court of competent jurisdiction ordering a the state to provide it.
They have also said that they verified that they have a Certificate on file. There are more than one kind of "birth certificate" and they didn't even say, AFAIK, which kind they have, let alone anything about the information on that certificate.
