Yep. Yesterday WAS a miserable weather day. This morning is prettier with a small snowfall overnight; I like winter when it’s snowy and clean and sparkly.
Asti Spumante IS good stuff; we like in on New Year’s Eve.
Today we’re having our Christmas at my Mom’s, and her husband makes the BEST Old Fashioneds on the planet.
I’ll behave...I have to work tomorrow. :)

It’s weird that Obama doesn’t have a treadmill and weights at his 32 million dollar vacation compound. What could possibly lure him every day to the gym at the Marine base ? There are no fawning crowds or legions of press, also fawning, in the compound. There are when he hits the bricks between the Compound and the Marines' gym.
Also he gets to disrupt the Marines' routine, with the Secret Service and all that. It means showing the Marines who the new boss is.
