I started doing so years ago. And I realized how much pure and utter garbage I'd been wasting my time on just to kill time.
Sure, most people have tilt. But it is those who use their wealth and position as entertainers as a soap box to be an activist for a cause that I avoid, you know the Jason Alexanders (George Costanza) and Julia-Louise Dreyfus (Elaine, gave 38K to Obama on a single day).
Now I have much more time to spend studying and enjoying literature and pursuing other, less irritating interests.
I agree with you. I can’t watch without that little infusion of nausea. I don’t think I’ll watch Matlock ever again.

Actually....Jerry Mathers is a gun owner and NRA member, and if I recall correctly, Tony Dow (Wally) and Ken Osmond (Eddie Haskell) has joined him from time to time on some NRA sponsored shooting events. AND Ken Osmond was a Police Officer with the Los Angeles Police Department for 18 years (1970-88), retiring only after he got shot in the line of duty (his belt buckle and bullet proof vest saved his life). Ken Osmond has also been married to the same woman since 1970.

Psst. TVLand is a Viacommie channel (as are MTV, VH1, Comedy Central, and SeeBS).
Turner and Viacom bought up the syndication rights to these programs years ago, and then moved them to their pay tv franchises.
It’s one thing to pay to own a series on DVD, it’s something else altogether to pay to watch the same programs on tv that used to be free AND still have to watch commercials.

There’s a wide gulf between Andy Griffith and Andy Taylor. Griffith has been an active Democrat for years. He’s a big-time lib.
