All of the water molecules outside my house have joined hands and are softly singing “Red Rover, Red Rover”, daring me to venture forth to try to penetrate their lines.
But none of the water molecules inside the house want to have anything to do with them. In fact, they seem a bit agitated at the suggestion.
No sweat.

I’d stay in, if I were you. I have to go pick Sally up from the Girl Scouts offices. Brrrrr.

It’s too cold to smell the trash today. In fact, it’s too cold to do much of anything, but I have to go to Wal-mart, because Tom needs a new coat for the campout. He’s grown! And we need more potatoes for the soup for supper.

I just got back from the post orifice and Smith’s. Wal-Mart is expanding into a Superstore, and the access is the long way around. It’s not worth the trouble for me!
Especially now that gas is back up around $2.
Sunny,46, no breeze, no fog. Lucky us!

I was able to fill up at $1.99, but the “local” stations (~5 mi from home) are at $2.15.

I have half a tank and that will have to do for the next two weeks. MAYBE I can fill up on the 1st, but maybe I can only put $20 in.

Just glad I'm not in Minn. LOL, the
mandated bio-diesel is freezing up in schoolbuses there. If that happened here I know
Sound Politics would in short order let us know whose fault it was.

I dunno. Anyplace that’s really cold is a death sentence for me. The dark and dreary day affect my SAD to the point that I can’t function. And add that to CFIDS....well, if I could find a warmer desert that had what I needed, I’d be there.
I just got my gas bill for the last month: it quadrupled! YOIKS!!!
(DC...did you order that weather?)

Take your longies to Chi-Town. Even if it isn’t snowing, you’ll be subject to some nasty winds. I hated the two years we were there. I’d never been do darn cold!
And remember: LAYERS!!!

Yikes! I just stepped out of the office and saw that the fog has increased. I can’t see across the valley to the west — Microsoft is not visible.

Dress in layers, dress to be WARM, and renember a scarf that you can cover your mouth and nose with. If you’re too warm, you can always discard a layer when you get indoors.
