Good evening. As Arctic temps and snow grip much of the country, I pray for all those who travel and have to spend time outside.
Also remember the many affected by the economic woes this season...anecdotal stories we're all hearing bring the statistics to life, and add a somber theme to the time which is usually so joyful.
Unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given.
May the JOY of Christmas be in our hearts all year long.

I was in a panic mode for a few hours earlier this morning.
Our power was off for several hours. While in bed I was planning how to cook the turkey on the gas grill, the potatoes and other veggies on the campstove.
Power is back on and all that fretting was for naught.

My husband surprised me with a visit to EPCOT Wednesday night for the Christmas Processional & Massed Choir w/guest reader of the real Christmas story....Steven Curtis Chapman.
It was beyond beautiful....but the goose bumps came at the end when the massed choir sang the Hallelujah Chorus and the audience stood (without being told!)....
The whole concert was focused totally on Christ's birth and was awesome!!
As Chapman said so eloquently...
Kingdoms and kings, and Presidents & armies & rulers great & small throughout the centuries have all passed away...
..but Christ the King continues to reign and will reign forever and ever, Amen.
