What do you buy an Obamatron for Christmas or Hanukkah?
Vanity Question | December 20, 2008 | Vanity

Posted on 12/20/2008 2:03:35 AM PST by Prole

Good evening, Ladies and Gentlemen.

I apologize for the vanity, but I am seeking advice from those of you who are also in my predicament.

Given the coming destruction to our Nation as the result of Barack Hussein Obama, I am angry at my mother and sister for voting for this communist.

I purchased several nice things for my father who is Conservative, but I am having a hard time finding something for my mother and sister.

What do you, my FRiends, buy for your family members who are also Obamatrons?

Thank you for your time, and Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas!

FWIW, I sent gift certificates from amazon.com

One can only hope that the recipient will pick an intelligent book.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Thank you for all of your feedback and ideas.

I find your posts to be helpful and humorous.

For now, my mother and sister will probably get low value Wal-Mart gift cards.

I want things to be civil at Christmas this year, but I haven't ruled out Mark Levin's books as gifts.

One thing that I forgot to add is that the vast majority of my mother's family is Conservative, so I bought them plenty of nice things to include Ted Nugent's new book, "Red Dawn" 2 Disc Special Edition, Laura Ingraham's latest book, and "Epicenter" to name a few of the assorted Conservative gifts.

Thanks again for your time and advice!

We get too wrapped up in this kind of thing when what we should be thinking in your situation is, what does this person mean to me, and based on that, what would I like to express to them?

OK, you must be good at buying gifts.....I'm still stuck at how much they mean to me.....and that is not helping with gift ideas at all. So, where do you go from there?

I really like my son's girlfriend for instance, but am at a loss as what to get for her. (17)

Buy them some shiny new carbon credits.

Let them buy their own. I'm busy putting more carbon into the air....

Or make a voluntary donation to the US Treasury on their behalf.

So long as it is out of THEIR checkbook....
