Good Morning Jaycee :)
You had a busy and very nice weekend. How nice you were visiting with your nephew! After running around yesterday, I was exhausted too. Christmas shopping is quite a work out, isn't it. ;) It was crowded where I shopped yesterday also but not too bad.
Have a terrific Monday! :)

Good Morning Meg
That sounds like such fun having all those kitties together! :) Wish I could be there to see them all. I bet your kitties will be exhausted after visiting. ;)
I didn't go shopping Sat. I started out and turned around and came back home. Did get to do some shopping yesterday. I sure hope to finish today.
Have a great day!

Christmas at Arlington
Rest easy, sleep well my brothers.
Know the line has held, your job is done.
Rest easy, sleep well.
Others have taken up where you fell, the line has held.
Peace, peace, and farewell..
.
These wreaths -- some 5,000 -- are donated by the Worcester Wreath Co. of Harrington, Maine. The owner, Merrill Worcester, not only provides the wreaths, but covers the trucking expense as well. He's done this since 1992. A wonderful guy. Also, most years, groups of Maine school kids combine an educational trip to DC with this event to help out. Making this even more remarkable is the fact that Harrington is in one the poorest parts of the state.
That first year he brought thousands of surplus wreaths and a group of volunteers who helped him decorate the gravesites of America's fallen soldiers. Since then it has become an annual event and was expanded in 2006 with the assistance of the Civil Air Patrol to include all of the 230 state and national cemeteries and veterans' monuments throughout the U.S.

Thank you for your weather maps, Dolly. I will tell you one thing, I am freezing and I need to go out after while. Hope it warms a little....it is still 7 here...hasn’t moved a degree. We have no snow though but I bet we will before this week is over.
Also, Dolly, your Military Monday is beautiful. I always get sad when I view those gravesights. Wonderful brave men gave their lives so that we can do what we do today. And some of those rights that they died for, are being taken away from us now. Have a nice day, Dolly!

A Day of Faith
Oh, Father, now we bow in supplication this day
for it is our time, for the debt we owe to pay
You gave us your only Son, and He taught us well
and many strive to follow His path, birth to knell
Amid the cheer and smiling faces we pause to reflect
the sacrifice and pain he carried for us, to deflect
We celebrate His birth, humble as our own
and how He set himself, our sins to atone
for a short time He walked with us and set his mark
and we venture forth, safe from the things of dark
He is the Reason for Season, not the gifts so bright
we must remember that, as is our duty, and His right
Sing a heartfelt song of Noel, hold this season dear
love and laughter fill you full, not a bit of fear
celebrate His coming, a King over all to be again
and we shall bow before Him, the one without a sin
Merry Christmas One and ALL!

Oh my......
I don’t know if you’ve ever had this happen or not. When you go to Flickr...I think they are hateful. You can’t copy most of their stuff. One time I copied something to save, etc. and when I went to Tinypic. later to post it, a sign came up and said something and then ‘kiss my a..! Thats the truth!
When I used Yahoo as a search engine, most of the stuff I got is Flickr, so I just Google all the time now.

Good Morning to you!
Nan and I are sitting in the local coffee shop (By the fireplace, and trying to stay warm (-16 degrees), but its not all that easy. To add to the fun, Nan just got laid off, so its nice to share the day with her, but we both rather be working then sitting here wondering what comes next...
I hear one more person bitch about ‘global warming’ and I’m setting them on fire to stay warm by!

Marissa comes up with names that are kinda different. She named her goldfish Dorothy. That was fine but when I asked what she was going to name the male Beta, she comes up with Carl. I didnt even know she had ever heard that name. LOL!!! Probably from Wizard of Oz, and who knows!.... Carl's Jr.?

Good Morning Amy’s Room...
We have three more working days before Christmas!!! EEks..
Today is my oldest daughter Pamela’s 49th birthday..she ushered me into parenting at the ripe age of 18!
I could no more imagine my 18 year old adopted daughter, keeping a household for love nor money! Times sure have changed.
Laura Ingalls Wilder had Rose at 18...can you imagine!
