And she wears it so very, very well! She really is a beautiful First Lady - she just radiates, doesn’t she? That’s this year’s Christmas decor, isn’t it?

Hi everyone! TGIF! GBA- thanks for all the great music! Rus always read & appreciate the devotional each day -- did you get my FR a few days ago?

Just came across this - repeat for many of you but imp to know

Not For Fido

It may be hard to resist when your furry friend looks up at you with those sweet eyes, wanting just a nibble of whatever you happen to be eating, but sometimes you must not give in to temptation.

Some foods can actually poison your pet. That's why it is best to stick to a diet recommended by your veterinarian, but if you do share a bite from time to time, give such snacks as cooked, lean meat, plain bread, rice or pasta. Be sure to avoid the following foods:

* Candy – any treat containing the artificial sweetener Xylitol can cause your pet's blood sugar to drop, leading to seizures and possibly death.
* Chocolate – yes, this urban legend is true. Large quantities of chocolate, especially dark or baking chocolate is dangerous to dogs and cats.
* Grapes and raisins – even a single serving of grapes or raisins is enough to lead to kidney failure. Never give these to your pet.
* Nuts – walnuts and macadamia nuts are especially toxic, but any nuts should be avoided.
* Onion – can destroy an animal's red blood cells causing anemia, weakness and breathing difficulties

Good Morning Dolly :)
Thanks so much for this info. I didn't know about the nuts.
I wish you and your Mom a Merry Christmas!

"Wear Red" Friday
You will soon see a lot of people wearing Red on Fridays. Here's why..... The Americans, who support our troops, are the silent majority. We are not "organized" to reflect who we are, or to reflect what our opinions are. Many Americans, like yourself, and all their friends, simply want to recognize that Americans support our troops. Our idea of showing our solidarity and support for our troops is starting Friday and continuing on each and every Friday, until this is over, that every red-blooded American who supports our young men and women, WEAR SOMETHING RED.

Word of mouth, press, TV -- let's see if we can make the United States, on any given Friday, a sea of red much like a home football game at a University. If every one of our memberships share this with other acquaintances, fellow workers, friends, and neighbors, I guarantee that it will not be long before the USA will be covered in RED - and make our troops know there are many people thinking of their well-being. You will feel better all day Friday when you wear Red! So let's get the word out and lead by example; wear RED on Fridays.

SUPPORT OUR TROOPS! WE LIVE IN THE LAND OF THE FREE, BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE. FOR US, THEIR BLOOD RUNS RED!! GOD BLESS AMERICA.

From an email on June 10th, 2006 - the author is unknown.

Mayor, Laughing Out Loud!
Although I work close, I have not been to NYC for 20 years.

Staten Island might as well be China for I have never been there in my life.

I live in farm country. I’m about one hour from Albany. Most of my neighbors are dairy farmers. It is hard to fathom but shows to go NY is a pretty big state.

I wish I did not have to travel so far to go to work! But I made this choice...Yes, I wish Staten Island, Chuck the Shmuck Shoomer and the whole mess south would succeed from NY state.....See you,

Oh my goodness! Thank you, GeeBee, for all these Christmas songs - and so beautifully presented, too! You sure made up for yesterday! :)

(I "borrowed" this one from your list) :)

Awww, isn’t that a real sweetie?

Billie and Lady Jag will be glad that Addyson is into horses and fairies for Christmas.....stranger things have happened...LOL~~~

I got her a little Fisher Price cowgirl with her own horse and as I told my son awhile ago, a play brush to brush the horse’s play hair, which isn’t there as its plastic..and a little blanket in the set. That horse’s name is Lily Gray. Got another little box with two smaller horses, one white, one brown, and all three horses have saddles on them. In the fairy line, I got a cute layered shirt that has shiny words saying ‘Fairies Sparkle’.

Merry Christmas

As we celebrate Jesus’ birth
A day that is to be filled with mirth
A day to be kind to one another
And treat all as if they were your brother

But in modern times both near and afar
All that is heard are the drums of war
People affected by the war’s misery
Will be written in the pages of history

The days prior to Christmas the merchants were stocking their shelves
As employees were acting as elves
The lights and signs beckoned the shoppers to come in and look at his wares
And spend money so freely and without a care

To see smiling faces on Christmas morn
While some forget that Jesus is born
And the Credit Card Companies are clapping their hands with glee
Imagining that they will get usurious percentage fee

We should not forget to celebrate Jesus’ birth
A day that is to be filled with mirth
A day to be kind to one another
And treat all as if they were your brother

Darling snow man/woman...sorta looks like a lady! Good music.
I put in a Christmas C.D. this morning as I was doing dishes and straigtening up. Now I’m going back upstairs to gather wrapping things together, plus lots of gift bags. I do it the easy way for hard to wrap things. All the gifts are on the guest room bed.

I will check in occasionally though. Have Fun!

How wonderful of you to do that, GeeBee! And the other display was terrific with the songs in the shape of a bell!
You did GOOD!

Wish I could listen to your music while I’m upstairs but can’t. Computer is down here where I am most of the time.

Good Morning Jaycee :)
How are you today? Are you getting the snow too?
I put the shortest song on top. At first, I was thinking of trying to do a Christmas tree shape and then I saw a bell shape coming along. I’m glad you noticed it also. Thanks :)

Good Morning The Mayor
I have to go read your blog about NY State. Good grief, more taxes. I wish we could recall or get a special election, this governor is nuts.

Turning on the TV the first thing I heard was NYC was in white-out conditions. We're expecting the white stuff to start around 2 PM in eastern MA and are hunkered down for it.
