I have seen a lot of Red Hat pictures, but I’ve never seen that one. I love it.
Good Morning Dolly.
I bet you will be more than glad to have that cast off!
I have not even tried to do a “ catch up” here on this great list. I have been running on full speed ahead, to get through the Christmas season!
Sending early morning greetings to you from Los Angeles...
“Graphic-less”.... Polly
I loved your cardinal, Meg. They are so beautiful. We see a lot of those in this part of the country.
Thanks again, G.B. for your wonderful music. I downloaded some of those again today. I hope I will get more time to listen as Christmas comes closer!
That girl is beautiful. Mysterious sorta!
Your son’s girlfriend sounds too good to be true in this day and time. If you don’t mind, would you send her to my house for a couple of weeks or so....we could find lots to do..LOL~~~
Un uh. NO way. I’M keeping her! LOL
I told him he better hang on tight to this one!
She reminds me a lot of myself when I was that age. :) She’s the oldest of five, polite, intelligent, knows how to do stuff— besides her hair and her makeup, she’s good with younger kids, and she’s got my son wrapped around her finger.
#1 son OTOH, is with a real loser. She spends his money—what little he makes—before he makes it. On junk. As far as I can tell, she’s good for nothing. He’s head over heels and you can’t tell him anything. I try to be nice to her, but then I look at #2’s girlfriend...
How’s your weather today? Sunny and cold here. Cold for us—35. Now, if we could just get a couple days with no rain...
When you have two sons (I do too) of course mine are grown men now, they are sooooo different! But not to worry that number 1 son will spring forth before you know it. He will figure it out eventually about the money thing.....LOL! Another gal will come along, you’ll see!
Temp here is 26 and I’ve been freezing all morning. Finally made some hot chocolate/with marshmallows and biscuit toast. What my mama used to fix for me and my brother. Made me think of her this morning. It rained all day Thursday and was freezing cold yesterday. I am praying for another few warm days like we had last week.
Some people wish the Bible said, In the beginning, God wasnt needed. To them, its unacceptable to say, In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth (Gen. 1:1), or Let Us make man in Our image (v.26).
Instead, they believe that after an explosion of energy and matter, somehow an atmosphere conducive to life was formed. Then, single-celled organisms morphed into the exceedingly complex life forms we have today.
No need for God, they say, for it all happened naturally. On an earth and in an atmosphere not of anyones making, forces with a blueprint designed by no one joined together to place the earth perfectly for life to thrive.
What we do with In the beginning God is at the center of it all. We must either believe His Wordand everything His Word claimsor we must believe that our meaningless lives resulted from an accidental, mindless chain reaction. What a stark contrast to Let Us make man in Our image!
In the beginning. Was it God? Or was it chance? Our answer to this whodunit reveals whether or not we truly worship the awesome God of creation.
I hope he springs pretty soon—he’s pushing 30. :)
He’s a wonderful guy—sweet, well mannered, help with anything, but he’s got no ambition. Never has. I just don’t understand.
Dittos on the hot cocoa! 75. It just needs to stay 75!
What a wonderful devotion on our Creation and Creator!
Sorry, the “ big bang” theory just doesn’t make sense. Thank you God for all of Your marvelous creations!
Polly
Amen Polly. My number one son is a huge advocate of Creation vs evolution. he has made U tube clips defending it and debates all over the internet and in college.
Sounds like your son has his head screwed on straight!
Nice to see in young people today, so many seems not to care.
Thank you for the wonderful words in our Daily Bread this morning, Mr. Mayor. If I didn’t have that to believe in, I would throw in the towel today! It sometimes breaks my heart when I see what ‘some’ say about what we believe.
Gosh, I didn’t know he was pushing 30. I was thinking late teen-agers or early 20’s.....boy, was I wrong! There’s still a lot of hope though, unless he truly loves this girl. Then, they will do whatever their heart says. My two sons are as different as day and night.
