I love your magic and your tree and border. Ave Maria loaded for me(despite my media player problems). ~Thank you...It is beautiful.~I'm so glad you could hear Ave Maria - it just seemed to fit the mood of "Amy's Boutique Open House" :)
The Christmas tree border used on that "Deck the Halls" thread took on a whole new look - one reason is because it looks brown and golden when the tree itself has no brown on it - mostly lots of red and gold and silver and crystal and white things. :)
Your angel and the framing on your post is so lovely and subdued!

Such a sweet puppy dog! I love those eyes!

Thank you for the Christmas wishes and the pretty “Santa”.

Elvis Presley - Blue Christmas. Another one of my favorites I listen to every Christmas. :)

I tried to click on that and receive music...LOL! Didnt work! LOL! Doesn't hurt to try - I almost always make my music links without "looking" like links, so I understand when you see something that looks musical, you just naturally 'click'!

The Second Coming
TURNING and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.
Surely some revelation is at hand;
Surely the Second Coming is at hand.
The Second Coming! Hardly are those words out
When a vast image out of Spiritus Mundi
Troubles my sight: somewhere in sands of the desert
A shape with lion body and the head of a man,
A gaze blank and pitiless as the sun,
Is moving its slow thighs, while all about it
Reel shadows of the indignant desert birds.
The darkness drops again; but now I know
That twenty centuries of stony sleep
Were vexed to nightmare by a rocking cradle,
And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?

The Harp of Aengus
Edain came out of Midhir's hill, and lay
Beside young Aengus in his tower of glass,
Where time is drowned in odour-laden winds
And Druid moons, and murmuring of boughs,
And sleepy boughs, and boughs where apples made
Of opal and ruby and pale chrysolite
Awake unsleeping fires; and wove seven strings,
Sweet with all music, out of his long hair,
Because her hands had been made wild by love.
When Midhir's wife had changed her to a fly,
He made a harp with Druid apple-wood
That she among her winds might know he wept;
And from that hour he has watched over none
But faithful lovers.

What a doll he/she is!
We have a comfortable 58 today. Anything is comfortable after all those teens we had for a while!

The Lover Tells of the Rose in His Heart
ALL things uncomely and broken, all things worn out and old,
The cry of a child by the roadway, the creak of a lumbering cart,
The heavy steps of the ploughman, splashing the wintry mould,
Are wronging your image that blossoms a rose in the deeps of my heart.
The wrong of unshapely things is a wrong too great to be told;
I hunger to build them anew and sit on a green knoll apart,
With the earth and the sky and the water, re-made, like a casket of gold
For my dreams of your image that blossoms a rose in the deeps of my heart.

Yes, its eyes darted back and forth and was so cute doing that. Hope your day is going to suit you, Billie! I’ve gotten a few things done.
Red Hats has their Christmas luncheon this Friday. We take gifts but only can spend $5.00. Thats hard to do but I will find something. Its always nice at Christmas though. By the way, I had to call my doctor today...have a sinus infection and am just dragging. When I get that, I feel like I have the flu. His asst. just called and said he called me in an antibiotic to my drug store.
