Almost finished. YIPPEE! Just putting the last glass "candies" on the kitchen tree that I have on the bar counter. I took my time this year and actually enjoyed the decorating, unlike past years where I have been in a mad rush to get it all in place. I'm just not in the mood to rush this year. What gets done will get done, what doesn't, won't. :-)
I saved that pretty bear on blue. Thank you. She looks so soft and pretty!

I love your magic and your tree and border.
Ave Maria loaded for me(despite my media player problems).
~Thank you...It is beautiful.~

Good morning, All.
I just stopped by to wish you a beautiful Christmasy Day.
It looks like a lovely day here in Fresno;
the sun was shining earlier.
I'm going to get an earlier start today in hopes of beating
the traffic and the crowds.
Stay Warm

Good Morning Billie :) Wow! Your post is gorgeous!! Maria Callas, sings Ave Maria beautifully. Great song to start my day! Thanks, GeeBee, and I also want to thank YOU for the Christmas music post again today (maybe "daily" till Christmas?) :) I think Maria Callas' "Ave Maria" is the most beautiful I've ever heard - though it's such a beautiful song, hard for it NOT to be beautiful for anyone who can sing at all. :)

From In Memoriam A.H.H.
Strong Son of God, immortal Love,
Whom we, that have not seen thy face,
By faith, and faith alone, embrace,
Believing where we cannot prove;
Thine are these orbs of light and shade;
Thou madest Life in man and brute;
Thou madest Death; and lo, thy foot
Is on the skull which thou hast made.
Thou wilt not leave us in the dust:
Thou madest man, he knows not why,
He thinks he was not made to die;
And thou hast made him: thou art just.
Thou seemest human and divine,
The highest, holiest manhood, thou:
Our wills are ours, we know not how;
Our wills are ours, to make them thine.
Our little systems have their day;
They have their day and cease to be:
They are but broken lights of thee,
And thou, O Lord, art more than they.
We have but faith: we cannot know;
For knowledge is of things we see;
And yet we trust it comes from thee,
A beam in darkness: let it grow.
Let knowledge grow from more to more,
But more of reverence in us dwell;
That mind and soul, according well,
May make one music as before,
But vaster. We are fools and slight;
We mock thee when we do not fear:
But help thy foolish ones to bear;
Help thy vain worlds to bear thy light.
Forgive what seemd my sin in me;
What seemd my worth since I began;
For merit lives from man to man,
And not from man, O Lord, to thee.
Forgive my grief for one removed,
Thy creature, whom I found so fair.
I trust he lives in thee, and there
I find him worthier to be loved.
Forgive these wild and wandering cries,
Confusions of a wasted youth;
Forgive them where they fail in truth,
And in thy wisdom make me wise.

Flower in the Crannied Wall
Flower in the crannied wall,
I pluck you out of the crannies,
I hold you here, root and all, in my hand,
Little flower -but if I could understand
What you are, root and all, and all in all,
I should know what God and man is.
