Billie, that tree is beautiful! It looks like quite a large tree, was it? The decorations are pretty and that touch of blue is truly nice! Blue?, as in Billie Blue....LOL~~~

I am taking your advice....a leisurely cleanup today and maybe tomorrow I will do the mirrors....something I have almost forgotten. You mentioned it the other day and I love to get them all at the same time when I can. I do not plan on worrying about it. Will get the most important ones first~~~LOL.

During an all-night festival in Paris, five young people, apparently drunk, broke into the Orsay Museum and left a 4-inch gash in a priceless painting by Claude Monet. Culture Minister Christine Albanel said the painting could be restored, but she was deeply disturbed at the damage done by “a purely criminal act.”

One news headline read: “Monet Masterpiece Marred.” To mar is to injure or damage; to spoil, disfigure, or impair. It’s an apt description of sin’s effect on us. We know well the results of our own choices made in ignorance or defiance of God.

As we approach Christmas, it’s good to remember why Jesus was born. The Son of God did not come to establish a nostalgic, family-oriented, commercially successful holiday. The angel told Joseph: “[Mary] will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins” (Matt. 1:21).

Christmas began with a present from God to His sin-damaged world: “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Rom. 6:23).

The masterpiece of God’s human creation, marred by turning away from Him, can be restored when we give our hearts to Christ.

He came to do the Father’s will,

Jesus came to earth to repair our sin-damaged lives.

Billie, I enjoyed yesterday when I was here. I knew you, like the rest of us, had a lot of things to do. I didn’t think anything about it. I sent out a lot of Christmas graphics because I love Christmas and pretty graphics. After all, we only have a short time to use them.

I probably didn’t get one to everyone although I meant to, but if anyone was left out, it was not intentional. Just hard to remember with ‘all these sugar plums dancing in my head’. The sugar plums are our friends at Amy’s.

Thank you for that cute Opening Graphic.

I saved a couple of other poems before I found that one.I kept looking but nothing was perfect. There was one about a black dog in the snow ... I almost rewrote that one so I could use it. :)

We saw the sun yesterday so today the fog is back. The school bus is delayed for 1 hour ... We’re watching TV for any further updates.

Did you have fog FRiday night? I ran into a couple of bad areas.

Oh, Amy - I sent my post before I mentioned how cute the Snow Dogs poem is! I read it when I saw your post and it just seemed the two were meant to be together!

I also should have mentioned that not only does Roscoe not like being wet - he does not like being COLD either! So there's two reasons he doesn't like playing in the snow!
