P-E Obama is expected to announce his "Economic Team" today - Monday, and - hold on to your wallets - heavy spending plans to "boost" the sagging economy.
Meanwhile rumors swirl around the kind of deal he has struck with Hillary about the State Dept. job.
On all fronts...we shall see...

Good morning everybody. Today is pack-up day. We are traveling to daughter’s for Thanksgving and will return home on the weekend. I’ll have internet, so will be able to check in there.
Tonight is jam night at the American Legion, but Greg is working out of town. BooHoo! ;-)

We took our newly-arrived band cohorts to a gospel jam last night. It was fun, and as part of the stage band we were able to provide some good-sounding solid back-up to the folks who wanted to sing and we were also able to do a few of our own tunes as well.
When the jams get bigger next month and especially January we probably won’t go as much but it’s fun before they get so crowded.

Which reminds me of a humorless lib gal in our group who complained the other day that this song had a very baaaad message: a little girl roaming alone downtown looking in store windows AT NIGHT without her parents! OMG! Terrible!
I talk my friend,Terri,into helping her with Thanksgiving Dinner. I was a hard fight. She likes to give to others. However, she is very stubborn when it comes to receiving.
I told her. You can help get the right materials for your dinner or I can get the wrong stuff and really make you mad. I won. Or maybe she let win. I'll take it. I don't get that many victories.
I about 3 hours left of work. Then I am off work until Wed., at 0100.
I'll be working a 12 hour shift on Thankgivig Day. The new guard has very large family in San Diego. He helps with the cooking. Jorgen (he's Swedish) and your truly will split the shift. I don't mind, Thanksgiving is family holiday.

Woke up with a sore throat again but felt better as soon as I looked outside.....I awoke to a winter wonderland! A fresh blanket of snow, trees covered in white....beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!
It's still coming down lightly.
Today is a "normal day" for me....and to top it off, the Packers play on Monday Night Football!
So for me, at least for today, life is good!:-)
