The elaborate temple at Gobelki Tepe in southeastern Turkey, near the Syrian border, is staggeringly ancient: 11,500 years old, from a time just before humans learned to farm grains and domesticate animals.
According to the German archaeologist in charge of excavations at the site, it might be the birthplace of agriculture, of organized religion of civilization itself.

No, this German archeology shows that this temple pre-dates the Garden of Eden... in fact, it pre-dates God. Archeology has been a science of lies in some respects. The carbon dating methods make global warming science look respectable.

So, we know where Civilization was born, but no one knows for sure where President Elect Barak Obama was born. What gives?

Fox worshipers are a new one for me. Do you have any info regarding the fox as having status in any of the world’s many religions?

I don't know how religious she was, but there was a girl I knew in college who was a fox and I'll tell ya, I worshiped her. Status? Yeah, she had status. Pair of 'em, in fact... ;-)

The archaeologist in charge of the dig believes that this artwork has connections with the Eden story. The archaeologist is Klaus Schmidt; the site is called Gobekli Tepe

Probably found an inscription that says so, but like old coins, the date is a little hard to make out.

C'mon, think about it. This story's from Fox News. Yes, I read that part, maybe they will change their logo.

The art work is very good for that time frame, there is no question about what is being depicted.
