It would be interesting to compare it to numbers before the purge.
One of the things I love about this site, is that there aren’t any ads of obviously liberal hot girls wearing conservative t-shirts. I’m not gay but I find those annoying.
And McCain is going back on the “Republicans I hate list.”

I have always wonderd how many times freerepublic was viewed per day, how many people were logged on at any given time etc?

Thanks for that tidbit. Very gratifying but I’m not surprise. In general, I think Free Republic is populated with articulate, intelligent, clever folk who deal mostly with reality (I won’t bring up all those poll numbers - I wanted to believe them so am equally guilty..) even though I don’t really want to hear “reality” - I just want to feel better if I’m scared. I used Free Republic to get through 2004 election night but abandoned it afterward. With the debacle of Tues, I will try to get a daily fix of Freeper insight and wisdom from now on - a damn sight better than even FOX. It will have to suffice for now, brothers and sisters - until we get a glimmer of light in the vast darkness of the abyss.
I’m surprised, if this is true. The quality of the posts has gone heavily downhill, probably as sane people have given up on this forum and abandoned it to the hysterical loonies with a wacked up view of the world/reality.
Still, the setup of the site is in tip-top shape and very easy to use.
