That is so cute, snugs! One of these days I am going to learn how to insert words, etc. into graphics, I hope! And by the way, I still love President George Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney. They are the greatest! I could smack Obama in the face every time he slams either one of them, which he has done daily in this campaign.

Hey, Meg, if we keep on, we will have to get that card out that Billie and I like so much about “thank you for the thank you for the thank you”...LOL! That little kitty I put in snugs email...I figured you would want to adopt that cute thing. I could squeeze it to death...just look at those eyes. Think I’m gonna be kicking back a while.

You are so right, Meg - and it will change nothing if we let the outcome of this election affect us in any negative way. We still have our families, our friends, our loved ones, and we have Someone who is watching over us.............

We have something special - a strength that cannot be wiped out with an election.

MSNBC just called the election at 284 electoral votes at 10 PM CST. There are still states too close to call, but he didn’t need them once West Coast polls closed.<p.McCain gave him a helluva fight.

Fox News gave him 297 to McCain 145.

I haven't believed it mattered who the Republican was or who the Democrat was in this election since the beginning of the year - the Dem - any dem - was going to win the White House this year.

I want to cry for President Bush, because he has to feel so hurt that the country turned on him in such a way that our party could not overcome.

I have been trying to console Marissa. She was so sure that McCain was going to win because we didn’t think he would be good for our country.

I’ve been trying to reassure her that everything will be okay. I guess I should not have let her get so involved in this election.

McCain did give a good fight.
My daughter just called..thinking about 2010 elections..and gaining back some seats....Ever onward!

McCain’s concession speech was the best speech I’ve ever heard him give. He delivered it so well. This was the landslide that the media all said it was going to be. The crowd waiting for Obama at Grant Park to speak is HUGE - HUGER than anything I’ve ever seen. This is overwhelming, Meg. I am still more sad for President Bush than anything.

I am disappointeed in our voters..concerned.
I pray God watch over our military..the dims won’t.
