Beautiful, Meg!
No clear skies here, no snow, just a cold dreary raining stay at home kind of day. Two in a row, and it’s getting old fast! At least I don’t have to work today. Yest was miserable. Very few customers makes for a long day.
Y’all have a great day!

Thank you for your charm!

The sun has been shining here ..off and on. It is a nippy
56..There is fall color all around town and the ravine has bright
yellow leaves among the evergreens. The neighbor's tame wild
turkey is hanging out on the patio.

My firebush about 3 weeks ago. Three days after the picture was made, all the leaves were on the ground. If you don't catch it at its maximum, its gone! I posted this once and I guess its floating around in cyber-space~~~LOL~If you'll notice at the bottom, lots of little bushes are trying to take over. My candy-tuft was there and its getting rooted out. I just can't keep up it seems. It is looking very wintry out there now. The birds love to nest in it in the summer!

Very pretty, jaycee..I love the color! I had to take a trip to downtown last week..It turned out to be a treat..enjoyed the fall colors on the way.
I finally gave my patio a cleanup yesterday. I’m ready for the next layer of leaves.

I think Wednesday is going to be 70ish here and I am going to string lights on the tall nandina by the patio door..With these kittens ..anything new is fair game so I am not sure if I want to decorate the living, dining room like last year..I enjoyed it so much..I may give it a try.

Last time I checked the radar yest, this front was all the way form NC to Mexico. Looks like we’re in for a couple more days of the same. Not hard rains, just steady. Driveways under water. we’re on a high sand hill but the driveway goes through some low spots. This is more like the falls I remember from my childhood—gray and wet. We’ve already had more cold weather this Nov than we get some winters.

A few green blobs passing from nw s below our area on the radar..I see no rain in our forecast this week..I hope to take advantage of a couple of 70s days and get my lights on a tall nanadina outside on the patio and a bit of yard cleanup done.

Happy Turkey Day, Finest Lady and all. Wasup??? Nothing much here. Cat is asleep and Im taking a break before I get finished ironing clothes for tomorrow. Luckily, Im heading for my cousins and dont have to do anything except bring some wine! Oh, my, dixie - how nice to 'see' you - though I'm a few days late! Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. Sounds like the perfect 'chore' to have for Thanksgiving Dinner - bring the wine and let others do the cooking!

You’ve got more ambition than I do! Good luck! I love the old variety of nandina, much better than the dwarfs. Hardier, too.
At least I haven’t had to water outside the last couple of days!
