Gotta watch that stuff or you’ll be getting your days and
nights mixed up again! LOL!
I wish we had cardinals! All we seem to get are sparrows,
doves and icky Grackles. Ugly dudes, all!
Nite, Meg! (((hugs)))
Sweet Dreams. LUV.
Your welcome..and thank(((you)))). I have always appreciated the beautiful graphics and poetry by the hostesses.Believe me I have gained a lot more appreciation for Celebrations since my struggle with doing them! LOL

You’re surely welcome! Thanks for the Shel Silverstein!
My sister makes mini pumpkin cheesecakes. Yummy! She found out the hard way NOT to use store brand cream cheese. She intended to make them for a party at work. They wouldn’t set for anything.
Am I being offered up...just keep on with the compliments and I guess I’ll have to say yes....(hope ya’ll know I’m kidding.)
If nothing unusual happens Thursday, Friday, or Saturday, not counting the things already planned, I will try to help Tuesday, if I can locate all of my ‘homework’. I was in such a dither gathering and putting away information and graphics, I’m not sure my filing is in the best of shape. LOL~~~
I love that, Meg...those cats match your tables so well, its terrific. Thank you. Bet you did some Christmas shopping yesterday, huh? Lots to do this time of year, isn’t there?
Sarah Palin? (Of course, that would seem to be a bit after W. Irving’s time.)
Duality
The heart may trust what the soul will not
for it weights things, judgments hard fought
and oft as not I suffer for the dichotomy
of that separation between the parts of me
Experience, it teaches the lessons well
but need oft throws them away truth tell
and so I must relearn them time and again
be it the height of joy or depth of pain
Two parts in partnership oft parting along the way
in one skin, and one life, and all too oft, a bit fey
such is the way we’re built, a test I guess and fear
for oft I either laugh at myself or wipe away a tear
It is now Tuesday but I did get a copy of your delicious Pumpkin Roll. Don’t know if I will make it before Thanksgiving or not...but I will if I can. Thank you, G.G.!
Sometimes, Billie!!
But I love your little bear and I did listen to Fats...!
Teeheehee!
That’s very fine, but how do I get the fur out of my mouth?
LOL..Very Carefully! Good Morning, Oesy.
I don’t Christmas shop..I always give them just what they need and want..a check at Thanksgiving..I never have to return items..It always fits.
Glad you like my kitties, Thank you!
I am off to do errands soon..
;o)
One of the joys of being with kids is holding their hands. We do it to keep them safe while crossing the street, or to keep them from getting lost in a crowd. And whenever they stumble and lose their footing, we grab their little hands tighter to keep them from falling.
Thats what God does for us. Inevitably there are stones and cracks that trip us up on the sidewalks of life. Thats why its easy to identify with the psalmist, who said, My steps had nearly slipped (Ps. 73:2).
We all face a variety of issues that threaten to make us stumble. For the psalmist Asaph, seeing the prosperity of the wicked caused him to question the goodness of God. But God squeezed his hand and reassured him that, given the judgment of God, the wicked do not really prosper. True prosperity, the psalmist discovered, was found in the fact that God was always with him: You hold me by my right hand (v.23). And just for good measure, God reminded him that He would also guide him through life and ultimately welcome him home to heaven (v.24). How good is that!
So, next time you stumble, remember that the powerful hand of God is holding your hand and walking you through lifeall the way home!
Blessed Assurance this morning! Thank you, Mayor, for our daily bread.
I know you’ll do it..and the compliments are real.((((jaycee)))
