Mornin’—afternoon now. :)
It is a sweet little church, too far to drive to on a consistent basis. No snow like yorkie’s beautiful memory, just generations of commercial fishermen and farmers, and if anybody needs prayers, it’s them and their families. Sounds like a perfect wedding, yorkie! Great pic, too, altho it’s @ 80 here, beautiful and sunny.
Perfect picture for that day! LOL!
Per #2464...thank you mod for removing my huge double post! :D
Beautiful flowers and framing! Meg tried to give me a crash course yest but I was at work. Haven’t had time to play with it today.
**gave away my gas grill**
Don’t know what we’d do without ours. We’ve been fortunate that the last several hurricanes that knocked the power out, the wind came mostly from the south so we could cook on the north facing covered back porch.
Enjoy your new home! Is it smaller or larger than the last?
Your other one was beautiful. I especially loved the deck where
we had our cook-out. I’ll never forget it or your family!
Hey, Kitty!
We don’t have any mountains here, not even any hills, but the sun sure is pretty coming up over the marsh. The other morning it was kind of foggy, all gold and misty looking.
LOL Don’t insult mules like that! They’re neat animals, and smart to boot!
A couple years ago, I bought a wonderful dual zone charcoal grill at Sam’s Club. It would probably hold 20 large t-bone steaks or even more. It is very heavy cast iron, with stainless grills on each side and adjustable levels for the wood or charcoal.
I used it once - and loved it! Then, the next time I went to use it, I opened the lid, and there was a huge pack rat, with nest, right there on my cooking surface!!
I have never been able to use it again! (Even after scrubbing and sterilizing the grills!)
Durned CRITTERS!
GG, it must be 80+ here, today, also! I hate turning on the furnace in the morning, and then having to turn on the AC in the afternoon. LOL
(And, it was a perfect wedding, except for the ‘lady’ who came running in late, with a lit cigarette in her mouth! Seems there’s always ‘one’, to disrupt the dream, eh?)
Isn’t it though? Thanks, Luv!
Hi Luvie! Yes, been talking about it forever but seems its hard to find the time to truly learn it. I could use Billie’s commands forever but whether I could make one myself or not, I don’t know how long that would take! I haven’t even learned how to change font sizes, styles, colors and really want to do that. I have the thread...if I can get time to study it.
Your grill sounds great and I probably wouldn’t be able to use it again either! Yuck. Stupid rats.
We have a lot of “transplants” here. One of the northern ones was buying horse feed and complaining about the deer hunters. We can use dogs here, because the woods are nearly impenetrable. She wanted me to agree with her, and I politely declined. I jokingly told her they were nothing but rats with antlers. Tasty rats. And every one that ended up in my freezer was one less I had to worry about me running over or eating my garden.
**Well, I think hunting is just deplorable.
I looked at her and said, no you’d rather let them overpopulate and then leave them lay along the highways and rot when they get hit, about one deer carcass every ten feet than hunt them and let someone eat them.
If looks could kill... LOL
I looked at her and said, we’re not going to agree on this, and I’m not going to argue.
**late, with a lit cigarette in her mouth!**
Always! Late is just rude. When I was growing up, all the adults smoked and no one thought anything about it. Now I can’t stand cig smoke. Don’t care if someone wants to, just don’t make me sit in the same room with you please.
You might be a redneck if you’ve ever run your heat and your ac in the same day! :)
Thank you, G.G....I’ve tried it before about a year ago and my heart wasn’t in it. I would like to learn a few things about it this time. I hope you will try also.....I gave up before as it seemed hard to me but this time I’m gonna learn~~LOL~~maybe!
