Oh, yorkie! That is too funny!

The only thing left out of that description is the part about the coyote slapping paws, er, legs? with the cockroach and them laughing like the Geico squirrels!

Hi all.

I see that DollyCali has not yet posted today. I’ll give the little I know here now.

- The doctor was able to set the wrist without surgery and pins.
- Was back from the hospital before midnight and stayed at home last night.
- She was in pain and taking something stronger than aspirin for it.
- She is right handed (I’m fairly certain)

Other details must await her reporting when she is able to do so.

My husband broke his toe just before my daughter’s wedding..Everyone thought he was about to cry with emotion as he started down the aisle with her..He, told me later he almost went down, the pain was so intense when he took that first step with her.

Goodness, Meg. I listened to yorkie’s sound effects on that site and their howls are weird. She said hers quit coming close after she stopped putting food out. Of course, you feed your other critters and it probably draws them closer to your house.

OUCH! I would say for your hubby’s toe, having to walk his daughter down the aisle. Its hard enough doing that even with good toes...LOL~~~!

Satisfaction
The world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. —1 John 2:17

Pornography, once a secretive backdoor industry, is now out in the open. The easy access and anonymity of the Internet have turned it into a multibillion-dollar-a-year “business.” But it leaves a trail of broken families, ineffective Christian leaders, and men who have lost the respect of their loved ones.

The apostle John was known for his great love for Christ and His church. In 1 John 2:12-17, he warned fathers and young men against these three lusts:

Pornography damages users and victims alike. It feeds lustful desires in ways that can never satisfy. True satisfaction is found only when we give our affections to eternal things—to a right relationship with our heavenly Father and with those He has created in His image.

“The world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever” (v.17). Many Christian men struggle with the temptations of pornography. Find help by reading When A Man’s Eye Wanders

Inner peace springs out of inner purity.

He was a trooper..My daughter had temperature that week..It was frantic the day before the wedding..and of course it all turned out beautifully.
I missed my hair appointment..just did it myself..I wasn’t the star anyway...
;o)
The honeymoon couple spent the night in a hotel then left the next day for their honeymoon trip/move to Atlanta..We all cried that day when they left..so far away.. My husband died less than 6 months later of a heart attack.
How little we know what may come..both the heartbreak and the wonderful.

I love poppies!

They won’t grow here—too hot. :(

Have you seen the Himalayan Blue ones? Sigh

That is an Anemone..I can usually only tell because they are labeled..Those I have had no luck with..Poppies have naturalized in some areas of Texas..I saw red ones at the wildflower garden at a local park in May.
I’ll have to look up the Himalayan blues.
I have saved so many poppy pictures..all colors. I just love them.

What a sweet story. Wedding days are always full of surprises. Like you say though, no matter what happens, the wedding is always beautiful. Had hubby had heart trouble or was it one of those sudden events we sometimes hear about?

Many years ago now, my husband’s father died suddenly one Sunday morning from a heart attack....had no previous heart problems, but had some other health problems. He was only 58 years old at his death and it was a shocker.

Remember a year ago when my granddaughter got married, they didn’t get to go on their honeymoon for 2 weeks, because she had all her finals at that time. These young folks can handle it well, it seems.

Beautiful, Meg!

Its 53 here today, sorta cloudy. I have to do some cleaning in this main room today and would like to blow off the patio and carport. Will be keeping computer on though, and handy!
