He is adorable, I had to really look at him, he is too perfect for a mere dog, looks like a toy.

I wanted to find something beautiful and wise to share with you, some ‘soul food’.

Will this do for a starter?

And Meg’s beautiful bouquet at the top of the page, there will be others, except that my internet connection is not strong today and will not open all of the art work.

Woke up thinking of you two.

Is he your dog?

Wish my white hair was that white.

LOL, but not that long.

He is beautiful and looks like a sweet personality.

Cats are easier to take care of, LOL, they know what they want.

I do not have dogs now, but have enjoyed living with several over the years that were exceptional.

The Journey

Oh dream thy dream of eternity
as ageless as hope and as fair
for there in is the mystery I swear
for such is the way forever you see

like a comet across a celestial space
you see life in a line, an orbit of time
and with a strangely heavy heart you rhyme
and set your emotional load off apace

Ishmael you traveler, riding time across space
you hear a pacing beat among the stars bright
one only you can hear, in a universe you sight
amid the latest crowded ruins of the human race

Musings on the Tor

To win or lose and pass away into distant time
perhaps to be captured for while in some old rhyme
While the bones lie deep beneath the stones and lime
and shadows shift as if to tell the story in their mime

Hearts that loved and held a measure of it there
now emptied by the passing years, enough to bear
They lived in all the ways of man with equal care
until the Fates decreed their threads of life to pare

How many times their dreams have we shared
and spent our energy in rapt attention fair
As if they were but only ours and only we did care
in the twining twisted Halls of Time we’ve dared

The common story of the common clay
ever onward in ways so often heartfelt fey
Who will live our dreams in time to come I say
and will they understand the price we all must pay

Silent rocks and shattered halls of mortal man
in this verdant land where deep fens fan
Where the sound of the wind speaks as they can
of those before to those whom Fate has yet to ban
