Music Plays a Role

Music plays a role in aspirations of our soul.
To connect us to our Origin, our music plays a role.
The choirs of the children echo angel songs we heard,
And we often get a message from the warbling of a bird.

The monotonic clangings of the factory and the street,
Have no connection musicly except they have a beat.
Real music only happens when we celebrate a goal,
In our lives and not our living is where music plays a role.

Good Morning Amy, A very lovely graphic, mentioning a beautiful song I can hear in my head. Was it the Jane Froman Story that had that song and title? I could be wrong...wouldn’t be the first time~~LOL~~

Be back later, just dropping in for a moment.

Good morning, Jaycee.
I checked with Goodgle before saying "yes"
because I have been wrong a couple of times. ;^)
That was a very good movie but very sad.

With a song in my heart
I behold your adorable face.
Just a song at the start
but it soon is a hymn to your grace.
When the music swells
I'm touching you hand
It tells that your're standing near, and ..
At the sound of your voice
heaven opens his portals to me.
Can I help but rejoice
that a song such as ours came to be?
But I always knew
I would live life through
with a song in my heart for you.

Ask Me Now
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. —James 1:5

Whether you need a weather forecast for Singapore or driving directions to a restaurant in Chicago, the answer may be just a cell-phone call away. A California-based mobile service called AskMeNow utilizes Internet content sources to send text-message replies to queries from registered users on just about any subject. In many cases, a text-message reply may be received within minutes of submitting a question.

In a sense, the invitation to ask anything, anytime, anywhere mirrors God’s call to all who follow Jesus: “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach” (James 1:5). But this is more than a mobile information service. It is our heavenly Father’s promise to provide the guidance we need, especially during trying times.

All we need is a sincere desire to follow God’s direction and faith that His way is best. Because the Lord “gives generously to all men without making them feel foolish or guilty,” we can ask in faith without doubting (vv.5-6 Phillips).

The Internet is a great place to find helpful information, but there is only one source of divine wisdom to direct our steps each day. The Father invites our sincere requests anytime, anywhere.

My Lord is ever with me
Along life’s busy way;
I trust in Him completely
For guidance day by day. —Anon.

Be smart—ask for God’s wisdom.

Hi there Meg.. didn’t get back to your on raspberries..

yes, got a quart. They were pretty picked over. When was in garden shop area gettin my containers to pick & a man arrived wanting to purchase prepicked berries - 6 qts. The lady said they had none due to low yield & heavy picking recenlty. He was disappointed. Not sure how much the picked quarts are. They are 6.99 at Upick um (and of course I east half a quart!). He walked back to his mercedes convertible downcast .. so guess he could afford them. lol

I rather ration them out & we will have them available til first frost or around Halloween.

There are a lot of green &Upcoming berries on the bushes.. just need the warmed weather & sun to get them

didn’t mean to indicate the one quart would last til halloween.. but that the berry patch closes then.

My berries will be rationed over a few days.

I love them & they are so healthy for most people.. I guess Diabetics might have some problems

All Angels Day

Today is Michaelmas, or St. Michaelmas Day. This holiday isn’t celebrated in the United States to my knowledge, but it is observed in England.

Michaelmas Day, the 29th of September, properly named the day of St. Michael and All Angels, is a great festival of the Church of Rome, and also observed as a feast by the Church of England. In England, it is one of the four quarterly terms, or quarter-days, on which rents are paid, and in that and other divisions of the United Kingdom, as well as perhaps in other countries, it is the day on which burgal magistracies and councils are re-elected. The only other remarkable thing connected with the day is a widely prevalent custom of marking it with a goose at dinner.

During medieval times, Michaelmas was a great religious feast and many popular traditions grew up around the day, which coincided with the harvest in much of Western Europe. The traditional Celtic feast consisted of eating goose, harvest vegetables, apples and blackberries. Traditionally, in Ireland, finding a ring hidden in a Michaelmas pie meant that one would soon be married.

Pumpkin Day

Coffee Day

Black Coffee

It grows on little bushes,
Not trees or even vine.
The bean needs to be roasted,
Then brewed into fine wine.
Colombia, does grow the best,
I like mine mountain grown.
No cream, no sugar in it,
Starbucks, yeech, I moan.
Just hot and fresh and in a cup,
I really like it black.
You keep your Cappuccino,
I’d want my money back.
