Thank you! It’s a favorite..So do I! I post my fantasy gardens! It will warm up here to 80ish..still a nice fall teaser.
It went fine. Yes, I go over at least once a week for lunch and am quite popular over there with my MIL and her dining room tablemates. Their affections are easily bought with a bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken or Angus burgers from McDonald's or BLT's from Subway. These are foods unlike the standard fare they are served each day at Twin Oaks. I don't always bring them something special when I go for lunch, but often enough to where they like to see me coming. ;-)
BTW, I finished the Katy Ulen story and e-mailed a link to the webpage. Let me know any changes I should make. :-)

Speaking of birds singing, that little black pheobe that I found in my back yard is still around. I hope she will be a permanent resident.

With “guests”..I do have a few matters I need to tend to..I have more kitties to pet and talk to..and more on the way..My son in law is returning home today to collect the rest of the kitties among other things he needs to do there.
The electricity should be repaired by the 25th..sooner than first reported.
Daughter and I are enjoying a good visit..despite the reason for it.
We miss you around here, but we understand that you have busy life and we all just pop in when time permits. I haven't forgotten that I owe you mail, Sistah D. It's on my list of things to do. I am so lax about answering mail lately. :-(

Awwwww...man, (yes, I am whining!) I would love to go to one of their appearances. I don't even know if they will come to CA. I don't blame them, of course. No point in spending time and money in a state that they can't hope to win. Still, Palin Mania could turn this state....wouldn't that be something??? It would be wonderful to see CA's electoral votes going to the Republicans for a change - although I doubt I will see that in my lifetime.
You are lucky to live in a state that is up for grabs. You get all the attention.

Thank you both. I love to see the beautiful flowers Meg always posts and knew the opening today would be a popular 'theme' and probably one of the last few days this year to open with such flowers - fall colors will be coming quickly now!

Thanks, jaycee - I was actually going to use that opening for next week (Tuesday) and then found one of the holidays for that day is "Fantastic Fall", so had a change of plans and wrote Amy to see if she wanted to use it for today if she didn't have anything already planned. It sort of fits for a "Warm Fuzzy Wednesday" anyway, right? :)
