OMG!! I remember that movie. That was excruciating to watch! That movie makes a visit to even the worst dentist a piece of cake. LOL
I see that FR is still have “issues”. Hope we can have this conversaton. It’s taking forever to load. I have to break for a few minutes for supper. Pork Chops...yummm BBL
Well, Phooey! I guess you caught me not paying attention. I don't think we did get a photo of Oak Grove church because I don't think I have any other church pictures from our trip. Oh, well.....it's a reall miracle that I only goofed up one fact. LOL.
Yes, I left poor ol' Chester on the cutting room floor. I'll go find him and post his photo with jk. Just a sec. I am also going to have to post a photo of little Em with her cute hair cut. She is such a doll!

I know! This is getting real old. Judging by the lack of participation on this thread, I think some people have just given up on FR. I sure hope this gets fixed soon!
Yes, Chester, the sterotype of a West Virginian. He lives “up the holler”; has coon dogs, chickens and guinias. Loves to coon hunt and fish. Chester has lost most of his teeth (speaking of teeth), and has no interest in false ones. He talks like all of us hillbillies. Now you would think that he is ignorant and backward. Not so. Chester is one interesting fellow. He’s extremely intelligent, and is one of the few people who can stump me with a theological question. He drives me up the wall, but I love him. He sent JK the cap when Lori and Amy were here before.
She is just so precious...yes, little pixie for sure!
Oh, I had forgotten about those pictures. She does have the sweetest smile to go with her sweet personality. Good child.
My supper was really good. Baked pork chops, mashed potatoes and brocolli. Those baked pork chops were out of this world.
I didn’t want to complain since I’m always doing that but it does make one nervous to post, waiting, waiting, waiting gets quite boring. I have double posted lots because of its slowness and I get those white blank pages sometimes when I click on Reply under someone’s post to answer. When that blank white shows up, I click refresh and it eventually gives me a place to reply and when I type my reply and hit Post, thats the long wait.
I love FR and don’t like it sick! LOL!

yes, she is precious to us. My only grandchild, though hubby has several that we don’t even know in Texas. Em is as good as she looks. She is the best behaved child I’ve ever had. Do we all think that our grandchildren are well behaved?
What do you think? I have typed up Katy and Benjamin’s life (condensed version) that is 3 typed pages. Do you think that is too much to post all at once, or should I break it up and add graphics?
LOL. It seems that every time we have an election, Jim has to add more servers. Oh how I’ve watched this place grow over the years.
Oh, I enjoyed your photo tour of Ohio & West Virginia! Thanks so much for putting it together in such an interesting and fun-to-read way, Lori. Nan, your WV is so pretty and peaceful-looking. One thing I want to ask about breakfast though - where were the grits? :)
But, what I didn't mention was that Mr.WVNan also prepared dinner for us one night; hog jowl, blackeye peas with Vidalia onions, cornbread and fried green tomatoes. This was a meal like we'd never had before, and quite good. I am not very adventurous when it comes to trying new food, but it was all very tasty. And, the green tomatoes were grown by Nan herself!
