Kearen is now doing battle because we have to take her to “The Bad Place”.
The vet will be happy(?) to see her.

Looks very peaceful.

We are going to a place called Weir Dam. The weather has been sunny one minute and cloudy the next. We hear there is 40% chance of rain. They do not have an inside place where we are going so if it rains us out by about 4:00, someone will call. Then, we will meet in one of the ladies church dining area. That is okay but I wanted to be outside. But I am not in charge of the weather, thank goodness.

By the way, Weir Dam is a beautiful place. My husband and his friend used to go fishing there.

I could never do a cartoon about Governor Palin. I not only like her ideas but I think she is a very nice looking lady as well. Don’t think I could ever do a cartoon that did her justice so I wouldn‘t do one at all.

The cartoon that caused a problem was 1.71 megabytes. I was lazy. I would draw one large frame with multiple text bubbles. So the cartoon couldn’t be reduced without the text being too small. At that time, I had cable modem and large cartoons didn’t cause me any problems so inconsiderate ol‘ me posted them. I think they did cause problems for some other folks.

I did post some cartoons on the Poetry and Potpourri thread after that big one but they were much smaller. The last was on Sunday, January 09, 2005 4:00:06 PM. The internet provider that I had then allowed me to post any picture in my web page directory on other sites. My present provider doesn’t allow that.
