Mornin’ Amy. Beautiful presentations by everyone honoring the victims of 9-11.
Our local fire stations (11) are each hosting memorial services in about an hour. There will be a flag raising, pledge, ringing of the station bell, followed by a recorded presentation of “Amazing Grace”. I’ll be heading down to our neighborhood station in a few minutes.
Beautiful graphic, Majie. Thank you.
God Bless America. God Bless our Military. God Bless President Bush.
This is the first rescued dog we have ever taken in, all our others we got when they were tiny puppies. It's sad that she doesn't know how to play with toys, no one ever threw a ball for her and I think she must have spent a lot of time crated because whenever she gets nervous about something she hides out in the foot space under my rolltop desk. She basically would be perfectly happy to sit in my lap all day and be petted and cuddled. And a curious thing is, she loves ALL people. She doesn't show any real fear of men or women, so it doesn't make sense to me that she could have been physically mistreated. But, all anyone has to do is look sternly at her or or speak sharply and she flips over on her back on the floor and nearly dies. It's so pitiful! Anyway, she has a loving home now and will be treated like a little Princess girl every day that she is with us. :-)
Did you see America's Greatest Dog last night? I don't want to mention who won, in case you tivo'd or taped it and haven't watched it yet.

Oh, yes - America’s Greatest Dog! I forgot to say anything about it in my last post to you. I was SO HAPPY - ‘my’ favorite team won. That dog had the most intelligent-looking face I’ve ever seen. I think they chose the right one, and frankly, I was very happy to see JD go - his “Galexy” was a wonderful, smart, well-trained dog, but I never liked him from the first day!
Your 9-11 graphics are just beautiful. All the graphics are beautiful, and sad at the same time.
Wonderful Tributes,Ladies!!!

Yes, and sweet! It's amazing that he was so young and still managed to win. I like Travis too and the way he handled his dog - he was just a really nice guy. JD had a mean look about him and never did understand what people were trying to tell him. His dog obeyed out of fear and that is not a good thing. He intimidated his dog. I could not believe how he continued to act like he was some kind of a dog training expert even after the judges told him that they disapproved of his threatening manner he was showing towards his dog. Victoria was really not happy with him most of the time.
Lori and Andrew were quite a team too. I would not have been unhappy to see them win. I think Andrew's separation anxiety was the deciding factor in choosing Presley as the Greatest American Dog. It was a good show. I wouldn't put my dogs through the stress of those challenges, but I enjoyed watching and observing the relationship between the dogs and their "people".
I like that animation. I know you are quite good with making graphics, do you do animations too? Did you do that one? I have done a few, but have never had the patience to learn how to work with so many frames and layers. The ones I have attempted have not turned out as well as I thought they should have for the amount of time I put into them.
Yup. Just when you think you’ve seen everything.
Thanks for posting.
Nope, didn’t do that one.
I don’t have the patience to work with a lot of frames, either. However, I have found ways to work on frames in bulk both in Paint Shop Pro and its Animation Shop, and that helps cut down on the amount of work.
Thank you! LOL!
He went in, thinking he was 'entitled' to win, and so sure he was going to - and that turned me off in the very beginning. I loved Travis' attitude and his relationship with that awesome young 'pup'! They had such fun together, and there was not even a hint of intimidation there.
