Kassie, it was fab u lous. It was the best forum and form that I’ve seen - ever. Both men seemed comfortable, and not rushed - no time limits and alarms going off.
Both men seemed at ease with guards down.
That said, McCain hit it out of the park and BO did not, in my opinion. I think the one comment that caught my attention was from McCain when he brought up Drill Here, Drill Now. He said it was time, and that even tho those here in Kali-fornia have been opposed - we have to do what has to be done, because the Arabs are profiting - and funneling money to use against us.
I was just surprised that he SAID it so forthrightly. He didn’t have to.

BO hesitated quite a bit and meandered (being thoughtful?) with his replies. Spinners say he was being careful/thoughtful.
With JM, there was zero BS. The question would barely be out of R Warren’s mouth and he’d say
Yes/Yes/and Yes. He then smiled a lot (was very charming), and gave his life-experience vignettes.

Seems Russia is acting like they did in the old days. They signed an agreement to leave, they are still in Georgia and “digging in”. It’s all about that oil pipeline through Georgia. Russia wants to call the shots in Europe and the one way to do that is control the oil pipeline. “You do my bidding or I cut off your oil”. We must always remember, putin was and still is KGB and running the country, no matter who won the presidency.

It’s even worse than that in Russia: You do Putin’s bidding or else they take your company away with trumped-up legal charges...I forget who said it but someone said Putin is the Master of the Miscalculation, very clever tactically (waiting for the exact right time to pounce on Georgia and Ukraine) but gets the big-picture strategy completely wrong...I think Poland and Czech Republic will escalate this chess game with the missile shield — oops, make that the ‘unproven technology of the missile shield’...;-))

I should claify why I’m hearing music...I don’t think they can switch enough super delegates to do the job. And, if they could, there would be chaos - ala 1968, in Denver.

Yes, I agree, putin has been very busy taking businesses away from the successful CEOs. Have you seen where he “found” an irregularity in BP’s CEO’s visa? He pulled the visa and expelled the CEO, now he is running BP’s business in Russia. I uderstand his planning and placing troops began much earlier than this month. I’d bet he and his generals have been planning and placing troops and equipment for many months, the troops reacted too quickly in Georgia’s “genocide” actions this month. But Russians will be Russians and putin is the ultimate KGB agent and leader.
