The coming weeks will answer one very important question about John McCain: does he want to be the Republican Party's presidential nominee or does he want to be president?

Yo, Evangelicals, make Mitt your prayer target instead of showing how hypocritical and unloving you truly are!
Obama picks first. If he doesn’t select a woman, I would go with Palin. Romney’s not a bad second choice because he has wide geographic appeal-Mich, mountain states, and NH.
The best thing McCain could do is pick Romney and then sit down, shutup, and let Romney do all the talking.
And those most enthusiastic about hurling such invective will have only themselves to blame when it backfires.
There are few things more satisfying to see in politics than watching the enemy being hoisted on their own petard.
John Kerry legitimized the swiftboat attacks by making his dubious Viet Nam service the centerpiece of his campaign.
Obama legitimized the Rev. Wright rants by making race the centerpiece of his campaign.
And the barking moonbats who hate Mormons so bad that they think they should all be relegated to second class citizenship (at minimum) may end up nominating Mitt Romney after all.
Wow.
And all this time I thought Romney’s biggest problem is because he’s a LIBERAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then since I’m an evangelical, and I say that, it’s considered bigotry???????????????????????????????????
Talk about a high horse............

Romney’s a RINO and a complete albatross.
“John Kerry legitimized the swiftboat attacks by making his dubious Viet Nam service the centerpiece of his campaign.”
And we’re still waiting on that 100 pages of his service record he’s promised to release quite a few times.

Romney is the perfect guy to counter the Obama worship. He outclasses him in every aspect - business success, looks, speaking ability, achievements, executive experience, etc. Strong family guy. He also complements McCain completely, adds votes in NV, CO and MI - all swing states - and is an economic expert to complement McCain’s clear edge as candidate for CIC.
Because of posters such as #6, #7 and #8 we are stuck with McQueeg.
Let me guess, satire? If so, that is pretty quality stuff.
Either that or you are setting the hypocritical and unloving bar really low by exhibiting exactly what you claim to condemn.
Sadly, having seen your posts in the past, I suspect the latter is true.
“His only problem is bigotry from the Evangelicals.”
Why in the world do you think evangelicals should violate
their consciences to vote for a cultist?? For what purpose?
Has it occurred to you that their reasons for casting their
own votes are theirs alone and not yours?
It seems that there is bigotry among Mitt supporters like
you, that insist their way is the only right way and
condemn the religious convictions of everyone else as wrong.
Pure Mittgotry.
Get this through your thick skulls, folks --- Romney is a liberal and his conservative talk during the GOP primary season, was just that. TALK!
Romney's real record shows that for most of his adult life, he supported liberal issues and liberal causes.
Enough already. No more moderates and NO liberals. McCain needs to pick a conservative who will act as a watchdog for the rightwing agenda.
This election is McCain’s to lose.
If he picks loser Romney, he most certainly will.
""His first budget, presented under a cloud of a $2 billion deficit, balanced the budget with some spending cuts,
but a $500 million increase in various fees was the largest component of the budget fix."
Cato Institute annual Fiscal Policy Report Card - America's Governors, 2004.
Romney was rated a "C" overall by Cato.
As U.S. real output grew 13 percent between 2002 and 2006, Massachusetts trailed at 9 percent.
* Manufacturing employment fell 7 percent nationwide those years, but sank 14 percent under Romney, placing Massachusetts 48th among the states.
* Between fall 2003 and autumn 2006, U.S. job growth averaged 5.4 percent, nearly three times Massachusetts' anemic 1.9 percent pace.
* While 8 million Americans over age 16 found work between 2002 and 2006, the number of employed Massachusetts residents actually declined by 8,500 during those years.
"Massachusetts was the only state to have failed to post any gain in its pool of employed residents," professors Sum and McLaughlin concluded.
In an April 2003 meeting with the Massachusetts congressional delegation in Washington, Romney failed to endorse President Bush's $726 billion tax-cut proposal.
LOL-agreed.
Ditto.
I know of other “cults” and these same “Evangelicals” had NO problem voting them in office. Has it ever occurred to YOU, that we need a man with a brain - McPain lacks that. We need a man that can turn this country around - because McPain will destroy it. Has it EVER occurred to YOU,to start ACTING like a “Christian”? EVER? Or is that only reserved for Sunday?
“It seems that there is bigotry among Mitt supporters like
you, that insist their way is the only right way and
condemn the religious convictions of everyone else as wrong.”
I am not a Mormon. I would NEVER, EVER take out a full page add in a paper, as the Evangelicals did and spew HATE and Bigotry all over as the Evangelicals did. The very thought of Mitt as a VP caused the Evangelicals to show their TRUE COLORS! They HATE others. They selecively “pray” for others yet on Sunday, one can only hope that there might be a few kin words to pray for the unsaved - like Miit. Guess that's not Biblical to Evangelicals. Their modus operandus is HATE and REJECTION of the unsaved. Notice the hypocrisy? Notice how your actions don't follow that of Christ? Notice how you are just a “sinner” too? Who knows if YOU are saved ... only YOU know that but I ask you, does a “saved sinner” have such a haughty attitude and one of you're not good enough and bigotry? My Bible doesn't tell me that. Guess we don't have the same religion - I;m Bible based not HATE based.
“Pure Mittgotry.”
No, pure bigotry and hypocrisy on your part. Your actions and words tell me what kind of a “Christian” Evangelicals are.
Don't you know, that when or maybe I should say IF you are a Christian, when “one member of the body offends” it affects the whole body? It does. People look at your bigotry and hypocrisy and want no parts of Christianity, even if it is FALSE. You spoil it for the rest of us that don't have that affliction - hatred and bigotry and announce it no less and call themselves “Christians” and Evangelicals. If I were unsaved, I'd want no part of THAT KIND OF CHRISTIANITY.
