PARIS (AFP) - Recent massive volcanoes have risen from the ocean floor deep under the Arctic ice cap, spewing plumes of fragmented magma into the sea, scientists who filmed the aftermath reported Wednesday....

Gee, I wonder if this is why the ice floes are melting in the Arctic and in Greenland?
Maybe they need to factor this into the globull warmist calculations?
No, no, you don’t UNDERSTAND! The melting of the ice floes removed so much pressure in the Arctic Ocean that the magma flow burst forth, like an erupting carbuncle....
Thank you for sharing that image with me!
Now I wonder how I’ll get to sleep!!!
CA....
The eruptions -- as big as the one that buried Pompei -- took place in 1999 along the Gakkel Ridge, an underwater mountain chain snaking 1,800 kilometres (1,100 miles) from the northern tip of Greenland to Siberia.
The eruptions (more than one), as big as Vesuvius... That's BIG.
I wonder how much CO2 those puppies put out...
given that the explosive nature of the eruptions is suggested to have been caused by big CO2 ‘bubbles’ TWO KILOMETERS beneath the sea floor, and under 13000 ft of sea water... and still spread debris over 10 square km, I’d venture a guess.... a lot.
Not for Florida.
