C) Israel and the United States take no action by the 12-31-2008.

D) Strike only after Iranian provocative action (list the action) - n.b. Lailat al Miraj in 2008 is on Tuesday, the 29th of July.

E) Date of a combined strike.

A. Israeli strike only, 10 Sep 2008, with US immediately declaring commitment and showing readiness to help intercept any retaliatory action.

Israel will strike after the Nov. elections IF Obama is elected. Israel knows that there will be a short 2 month window to have the assistance of the US. If McCain is elected, they will not strike at this time. They will wait.

Let's see here, we got 7 months until President Bush leaves office, the price of oil is way to high to start any kind of action against Iran ( in which will drive prices even higher ) so my guess is that those who are in the know will wait to see if prices will come back down ( I see prices are coming down SLOWLY were I live ) at a comfortable level.
Any were between Aug-Oct ( can't have it to close to the election unless it's a huge success ) .
Or between late Nov-mid Dec.

I do not believe Bush will strike Iran. If McCane should be elected, it will be left to him. I think Bush is worn out physically, mentally, politically. I believe he cannot wait until Jan.20, 2001. If Obama is elected, I believe Bush will go through backchannels to tell Israel to go ahead,..that Bush will not criticize Israel.

Dunno which letter to pick for mine: after our US election in early November, Iran will do something provocative, and the US will launch a strike on Iran that will destroy some significant Iranian capability.

I vote for G (F is occupied in # 30):

After the Olympics at the end of August there will be a bank crash in China and the speculative commodities market will adjust south some 30+ %. The Iranian economy with its 25 - 30 % inflation will have a flush down when the income from oil is evaporating.

Iran will step down its confrontational policies in October/November 2008 and Ahmadinejad is replaced.

Then there will be a military agreement between Washington and Tehran. The Saudis don't know what to think: Is this against the Wahhabis or only against al Qaeda?
